The copolymers provide improved dynamic fatigue resistance of the vulcanizates. Also disclosed are articles comprising the copolymers, such as tubing, hoses, dampers, seals and gaskets.
Abstract: An optical element such as an interference filter will have adjacent layers of different indexes of refraction but formed of the same optical material. An optical element such as a diffraction grating or beam-splitter will have adjacent sections of different indexes of refraction in the same optical material layer. An optical element such as a waveguide will have a core layer of a higher index of refraction partially or completely surrounded by a cladding layer of a lower index of refraction formed of the same optical material.
Abstract: An electro-optic display comprises a bistable electro-optic medium, a plurality of pixel electrodes, with associated non-linear elements, and a common electrode, disposed on opposed sides of the electro-optic medium. The display has a writing mode, in which at least two different voltages are applied to different pixel electrodes, and a non-writing mode in which the voltages applied to the pixel electrodes are controlled so that any image previously written on the electro-optic medium is substantially maintained. The display is arranged to apply to the common electrode a first voltage when the display is in its writing mode and a second voltage, different from the first voltage, when the display is in its non-writing mode.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for keeping track of the ownership of unique items in a system including a server computer connected to a database and at least one client computer connected to the server computer over a network. In operation information concerning the item is entered into the client computer. This information, includes at least a description of the item and its owner, is uploaded from the client computer to said server computer where the information is stored in the database. In response, the system provides from the server to the client computer a transaction identification number related to the information and an item number related to the item. A user at the client computer can use the transaction identification number to access the uploaded information at the database to determine the current owner of the item.
