  • Patent number: 7550533
Abstract: A composition results from the blending of a maleic anhydride grafted metallocene linear low-density polyethylene (mLLDPE) or a maleic anhydride grafted metallocene very low-density polyethylene (mVLDPE) with an alkene or olefin polymer composition. The resultant maleic anhydride grafted polymeric composition adheres well to metal films such as aluminum film. The composition also has rheology properties making the composition efficient to use in co-extrusion processes. • Patent number: 7550663
Abstract: A pedal device with a shiftable stepping position for a percussion instrument is disclosed. In view of the problems in the prior art that the player feels discomfort when the angle of the footboard is not correct and that the instrument may have a worse pose, the invention provides a back bottom board under the pedal device that can rotate and adjust its side-shifting angles. By shifting the position of the back bottom board, the footboard is moved and fixed at a position preferred by the player. Therefore, the position of the footboard is adjusted according to the stepping position of the player. Therefore, the invention can avoid the player's discomfort and be disposed as desired.

  • Patent number: 7550194
Abstract: Perfluorinated polyimides (and co-polyimide) compositions, particularly films are disclosed, comprising at least 50 mole percent of a polymeric repeat unit derived from contacting 3,3?,4,4?-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BDPA) and 2,2?-bis(trifluoromethyl) benzidine (TFMB) monomers. The perfluorinated polyimide (and co-polyimide) films of the invention have an in-plane coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) between ?5 and +20 ppm/° C. and a average light transmittance percent of from about 65.0 to about 99.0 (on a 75-micron thick film basis). The films of the present invention were converted to a polyimide using a chemical conversion method instead of typically employed thermal conversion step thus yielding these desirable properties. The films of the present invention can be an excellent substrate in an optical display device and can be used to replace rigid glass substrates. Finally, the polyimide films of the invention can also be used to manufacture flexible display devices (e.g.
