Abstract: The food carrier has a central vertical support panel with a handle and a pair of trays or receptacles attached to the central support panel, and an optional auxiliary tray with a slotted bottom can be fitted onto the central support panel. A folded side-wall structure can be unfolded to start the formation of the trays, and a folded bottom panel or two-panel structure unfolds and fits snugly into the side-wall structure to stabilize the side-wall and hold the carrier erect while it is resting on a flat surface, thus to make unfolding and loading the carrier quicker and easier. Beverage cup-holding holes or flat solid bottoms with pop-up side barriers can be used to support beverage or other containers in the trays or receptacles. The carriers can be made from a single sheet and advertising printed entirely on one side to facilitate efficient fabrication at a moderate cost.

Abstract: A display rack comprising a horizontally movable trolley mounted on a track and a rotatable shelf mounted to the movable trolley. The track is mounted between a plurality of upright posts in such a manner that the trolley is horizontally movable between the posts. The track may be oriented so that the trolley moves either from side to side or between the back and front of the display. The shelf is mounted is secured to the trolley so that it is rotatable about a vertical axis that is disposed substantially at right angles to the direction of travel of the trolley. The shelf may be positioned either above or below the trolley and, depending upon the shelf's position, the product is displayed on the upper or lower surface of the shelf. The display shelf may therefore be moved horizontally relative to the upright posts and/or rotated to allow for easier access to the products displayed thereon.
Abstract: The invention is a hollow tube electrode inserter for inserting an electrode such as a Memberg electrode in living tissue. The inserter has a longitudinal slot that accepts the electrode into the hollow center of the tube inserter. The slot is offset at least once forming one or more retainer tabs that assure retention of the electrode in the inserter during insertion of the electrode in living tissue.

Abstract: Processes for forming adducts of hydrazines with acrylic macromonomers are provided. Also provided are processes for using ring-closing reactions of the adducts to form aminolactams. The adducts are useful, for example, for making adhesives, surfactants, viscosity modifiers, processing aids, and other products.
Abstract: An improved door and drawer assembly for use with a seat on a passenger vehicle. The door and drawer assembly are installed in the passenger vehicle independent of the seat and thus not physically connected to the seat frame. Any load that is applied to the seat frame during movement of the vehicle or caused by passenger movement or support is not imposed on the door and drawer assembly. Accordingly, the operation of the door and drawer assembly is not adversely affected by the loads imposed on the seat frame. Alternatively, the drawer assembly can be excluded so that the door assembly can provide access to an area under the seat in which emergency equipment, such as a life raft bag assembly and life vests, can be stored.
Abstract: Compounds of Formula I including all geometric and stereoisomers, N-oxides, and agriculturally suitable salts thereof, are disclosed which are useful as invertebrate pest control agents, (I) wherein A, B, J, K, L and R3 are as defined in the disclosure. Also disclosed are compositions for controlling an invertebrate pest comprising a biologically effective amount of a compound of Formula I an N-oxide thereof or a suitable salt thereof and at least one additional component selected from the group consisting of surfactants, solid diluents and liquid diluents. Also disclosed are methods for controlling an invertebrate pest comprising contacting the invertebrate pest or its environment with a biologically effective amount of a compound of Formula I, its N-oxide or a suitable salt of the compound (e.g.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermophilic hydrophobin, TT1, or a protein or polypeptide substantially similar thereto, derived from the thermophilic fungus Talaromyces thermophilus. The invention further relates to a polynucleotide encoding such hydrophobin, as well as to materials coated with such hydrophobin.
Abstract: A liquid phase process is disclosed for producing halogenated alkane adducts of the formula CAR1R2CBR3R4 (where A, B, R1, R2, R3, and R4 are as defined in the specification) which involves contacting a corresponding halogenated alkane, AB, with a corresponding olefin, CR1R2?CR3R4 in a dinitrile or cyclic carbonate ester solvent which divides the reaction mixture into two liquid phases and in the presence of a catalyst system containing (i) at least one catalyst selected from monovalent and divalent copper; and optionally (ii) a promoter selected from aromatic or aliphatic heterocyclic compounds which contain at least one carbon-nitrogen double bond in the heterocyclic ring. When hydrochlorofluorocarbons are formed, the chlorine content may be reduced by reacting the hydrochlorofluorocarbons with HF. New compounds disclosed include CF3CF2CCl2CH2CCl3, CF3CCl2CH2CH2Cl and CF3CCl2CH2CHClF. These compounds are useful as intermediates for producing hydrofluorocarbons.
