Abstract: A clothes treatment apparatus includes a cabinet defining a treatment chamber in which clothes are treated. A door is coupled to the cabinet and a pants crease management apparatus is disposed on a rear surface of the door. The pants crease management apparatus includes a press plate coupled to the rear surface of the door, a press door coupled to the press plate, and a film disposed between the press plate and the press door. The film can be placed between side portions of pants when pressed in between the press plate and the press door in a process to remove wrinkles from the pants and put a crease in the pants.

Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) disposed at an interior rearview mirror assembly of a vehicle equipped with the vehicular vision system that includes electronic circuitry and associated software, a driver monitoring camera disposed at the interior rearview mirror assembly and having a field of view of a driver region in a cabin of the vehicle, and an occupant monitoring camera disposed at the interior rearview mirror assembly and having a field of view of an occupant region in the cabin of the vehicle. Abstract: An image encoding/decoding method and apparatus are provided. An image decoding method according to the present disclosure may comprise obtaining a reconstructed picture, determining a target boundary of deblocking filtering in the reconstructed picture, determining a boundary strength for the target boundary, and applying deblocking filtering to the target boundary based on the boundary strength. Based on the target boundary being a transform block boundary and a color component of the reconstructed picture being a chroma component, the boundary strength may be determined based on whether joint CbCr residual coding is performed on at least one of two blocks adjacent to the target boundary, and the joint CbCr residual coding may correspond to encoding residual samples for a chroma Cb component and a chroma Cr component as a single transform block.
Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a motor portion fixed in an inner space of a casing, a compression portion fixed to the inner space of the casing at one side of the motor portion in an axial direction, a rotation shaft to transmit a driving force from the motor portion to the compression portion, and a flow path guide provided in a discharge space between the motor portion and the compression portion and provided with a guide outlet communicating with the discharge space and opened in a direction toward the rotation shaft. Therefore, most of refrigerant discharged to the discharge space through the flow path guide is moved toward an air gap to enhance an oil separation effect, and thus a normal operation point of the air conditioner can be accelerated.
Abstract: A vehicular control system determines a planned path of travel for a vehicle along a traffic lane in which the vehicle is traveling on a road. The system determines a respective target speed for waypoints along the planned path that represents a speed the vehicle should travel when passing through the respective waypoint. The system determines a speed profile for the vehicle to travel at as the vehicle travels along the planned path, with at least two different speeds being based on a difference in target speeds of at least two consecutive respective waypoints of the plurality of waypoints. The system determines an acceleration profile for the vehicle to follow as it changes from one speed to another speed of the speed profile. The system controls the vehicle to maneuver the vehicle along the planned path in accordance with the determined speed and acceleration profiles.

Abstract: According to the present invention, a common control signal via a group common control channel (GCCC) for a new radio access technology (NR) is defined. A user equipment (UE) receives the common control signal from a network via GCCC. The common control signal is for all UEs or a group of UEs in a cell. Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for connecting an external composite device to a smart device such as a smartphone using a USB connection. The apparatus allows for the creation of a communication interface between an external composite device such as a PTT device and a smart device with a single USB connector. The interface allows the external device to control transmission and reception of digital audio while simultaneously supporting serial data packets being transmitted to control PTT Press and Release (press and hold) from a USBC-Serial connection. The apparatus may be used with both Android and Iphone smart devices.
Abstract: This clamping tool uses optical distance verification with a laser. Clamping tools, like all tools, are known to be operated improperly. Many tools verify process completion by monitoring the pressure within the pneumatic tool. Previous qualifiers use pressure to determine many things. However, it often misses if a small object impedes a full stroke. With the addition of an optical laser sensor, we are able to determine if a clamping tool reaches full stroke.

Expected thermal responses of a room or an entire structure are calculated based on thermostat setpoints. The expected thermal responses are summarized into an expected thermal response visualization and displayed to a user for easy understanding of current, and future, temperature expectations before or as a room or entire structure is heated or cooled.
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating wireless intercom in a local communications network are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: generate and transmit a first broadcast packet and a second broadcast packet to a set of end-user communication devices; receive a first device-specific packet, on a first channel by a first central antenna and during a first uplink time period; receive a second device-specific packet, on the first channel by the first central antenna and during a second uplink time period; receive the first device-specific packet, on a second channel by a second central antenna and during a third uplink time period; receive the second device-specific packet, on the second channel by the second central antenna and during a fourth uplink time period; generate a third broadcast packet that includes packetized downlink information; and transmit the third broadcast packet to the set of end-user communication devices.
