Abstract: A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet for forming an appearance of the laundry treating apparatus, wherein the cabinet has a laundry inlet defined therein, a drum disposed inside the cabinet, wherein a drum opening in communication with the laundry inlet is defined in the drum, wherein the drum accommodates laundry therein, and a control unit disposed in the cabinet to receive a control signal. The control unit includes a touch portion for forming an exposed surface outwardly of the cabinet, a circuit board spaced apart from the touch portion and positioned inside the cabinet, and a spring unit having a portion on one side in contact with the touch portion and a portion on an opposite side coupled to the circuit to connect the touch portion and the circuit to each other. The spring unit transmits an electrical signal input through the touch portion to the circuit board.
Abstract: A display apparatus in one example can include a plurality of light emitting diodes, and a plurality of driving devices to output driving signals for driving the plurality of light emitting diodes. Each of the plurality of driving devices bypasses input common command data and outputs the common command data to an adjacent driving device. Accordingly, a transmission period of data transmitted to the plurality of driving devices can be reduced.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a signal processing device and an image display apparatus including the same. A signal processing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: an input interface to receive an image signal; a first image processor to generate first image frame data based on the image signal; a second image processor to generate second image frame data scaled down from the first image frame data based on the image signal; and an output interface to receive the first image frame data from the first image processor and the second image frame data from the second image processor and to output the first image frame data and the second image frame data, wherein the first image frame data output from the output interface is more delayed than the second image frame data output from the output interface. Accordingly, a timing controller may accurately and rapidly perform signal processing for a panel.

Abstract: A first appliance receives from a second controllable appliance a command for causing the first controllable appliance to be placed into a state and, in response, determines a trust level of the second controllable appliance. When it is determined that the second controllable appliance is trustworthy, the first controllable appliance executes the command. When it is determined that the second controllable appliance is untrustworthy, the first controllable appliance ignores the command. Otherwise, the first controllable appliance enters into a state in which the first controllable appliance waits for at least a predetermined period of time for a user to confirm whether or not the first controllable appliance should be caused to execute the command.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a camera having two or more cameras responsible for different illuminances. Abstract: Disclosed herein are a motor safety control method that can efficiently detect an abnormality of a motor sensor configured to sense a rotational motion of a motor and control a safety operation of the motor based thereon, and a robot for implementing the method. The motor safety control method for a robot may include receiving a first motor value from a high-resolution sensor of a motor, receiving a second motor value from a low-resolution sensor of the motor, and comparing a threshold with a difference between the first motor value and the second motor value, and transmitting an operation signal to a motor driver for the motor to continue or stop operation of the motor.

Abstract: A display device is disclosed. The display device includes: a display panel; an optical layer configured to be a diffusion plate positioned behind the display panel; a reflecting sheet configured to be positioned at the rear side of the optical layer behind the diffusion plate; a frame configured to be positioned behind the reflecting sheet; and a supporter configured to be positioned between the optical layer diffusion plate and the reflecting sheet so that the optical layer diffusion plate and the reflecting sheet are spaced apart from each other and to have an elastic portion that at least partially deforms upon deformation of the optical layer diffusion plate. According to the present invention, even if the optical layer diffusion plate deforms, the possibility of damage to the optical layer diffusion plate due to the supporter with the elastic portion can be reduced.
