  • Patent number: 8864708
Abstract: A closure assembly structured for use with a female luer connector operative to indicate an attempted tampering or access thereto. A flow restrictor is movably and removably disposed within a housing and includes a male connector, such as a male luer connector, inserted in flow restricting engagement within an interior port of the female luer connector. An indicator member is removably connected within the housing and a drive assembly associated with both the flow restrictor and the housing is operable to dispose the male connector in flow restricting engagement within the female connector. Attempted removal of the closure assembly from the female connector will detach an indicator member from the housing and visually expose it, thereby indicating attempted access.

  • Patent number: 8865520
Abstract: The present invention provides a temporary carrier bonding and detaching process. A first surface of a semiconductor wafer is mounted on a first carrier by a first adhesive layer, and a first isolation coating disposed between the first adhesive layer and the first carrier. Then, a second carrier is mounted on the second surface of the semiconductor wafer. The first carrier is detached. Then, the first surface of the semiconductor wafer is mounted on a film frame. The second carrier is detached. The method of the present invention utilizes the second carrier to support and protect the semiconductor wafer, after which the first carrier is detached. Therefore, the semiconductor wafer will not be damaged or broken, thereby improving the yield rate of the semiconductor process. Furthermore, the simplicity of the detaching method for the first carrier allows for improvement in efficiency of the semiconductor process.

  • Patent number: 8863820
Abstract: A temperature measurement device in combination with a furnace heat exchanger is disclosed and claimed. An instrumented heat tracer sensor is launched into the heat exchanger which records the temperature of the fluid and performance at data points along the length of the heat exchanger. If a spike in the temperature as measured and recorded, since the speed of the heat tracer sensor is known, the location of the temperature increase is known which infers a burn through in the furnace. A three way valve includes a retrieve port, a chamber port, and a launch port. A small sensor control pump and a large heat exchanger flow pump propel the heat tracer sensor through the system. A plastic chamber retains the heat tracer sensor for interrogation and downloading information when the sensor is not in use in the heat exchanger. A control station communicates with the heat tracer sensor and extracts the stored temperature data therefrom.

Abstract: The present invention disclosed an apparatus for reverse rectification, relating to the field of civil engineering technology. The apparatus for reverse rectification comprises two sets of steel plate hooks, which are reversely arranged and respectively fixed on the building and the skewed large-scale structure that needs to be rectified, and a jack which is horizontally placed on the steel plate hooks. The steel plate hooks, which are driven by the jack, push the skewed structure towards the existed building, whereby the skewed structure and the existed building can be spliced correctly. This present invention has more advantages, e.g. simple structure and convenient operability, which can improve the construction efficiency and reduce the construction costs. Therefore it can be widely used in the field of civil engineering technology. Further, the present invention also discloses a method for reverse rectification by using the apparatus.
