Abstract: According to various aspects, an additive for a hydrocarbon-based fuel has a formula (I), in which R1, R2, and R3 are each independently selected from —H, —CH3, or —CH2CH3, and at least one of R1, R2, or R3 is not —H. The additive improves an autoignition reactivity of the hydrocarbon-based fuel. The additive can be present in the fuel composition including the additive and the hydrocarbon-based fuel in an amount of 0.1% by volume to 5% by volume. The hydrocarbon-based fuel can comprise gasoline or diesel.

Abstract: A speed reducer for a gravity roller conveyor system is provided. The speed reducer includes a mounting member and an engagement member rotatably connected to the mounting member and structured to be rotatable to a first rotational position and to a second rotational position. A damper is connected to the mounting member and is structured to bias the engagement member to the first rotational position. A retraction mechanism is operably connected to the engagement member and is structured to be operable to rotate the engagement member to the second rotational position against a biasing force exerted by the damper on the engagement member when an object moving along the conveyor becomes stalled, thereby enabling the object to move along the conveyor past the engagement member. A speed reducer system incorporating the speed reducer is also described.

Abstract: A light-emitting device, including a shell assembly and a heat dissipation assembly. The heat dissipation assembly includes a first heat dissipation portion and a second heat dissipation portion. The first heat dissipation portion is connected with the second heat dissipation portion. The first heat dissipation portion is used to load a light source assembly, and a cavity space is formed when the second heat dissipation portion is covered by and communicated with the shell assembly. The second heat dissipation portion is provided with a first through-hole portion, and the shell assembly is provided with a second through-hole portion, the first through-hole portion and the second through-hole portion circulate a cooling medium to remove heat from the cavity space. Whether the light-emitting device is installed vertically, horizontally or at a certain inclination, a good heat dissipation effect can be achieved and the applicable scope can be greatly expanded.
Abstract: A method for determining the porosity of a core sample can include: saturating a core sample with a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) saturation fluid, wherein the core sample has a permeability of 100 milliDarcy (mD) or less, to achieve a saturated core sample; taking a NMR measurement of fluids in the saturated core sample; determining a porosity of the core sample based on a correlation between the NMR measurement and a NMR signal to fluid volume calibration.

The outer metal oxide is also configured to be reduced to a conductive metallic layer during electroplating of the substrate. The outer metal oxide layer includes a plurality of elongated light diffusing elements extending in an outward direction from the substrate such that the outer rough surface diffuses at least 90% of laser light during the laser interference lithography of the photoresist layer.

Abstract: Problem: To provide a fluid transfer device that can solve an issue of pulsation that occurs when a liquid material is discharged from a nozzle by eccentrically rotating a male-screw-shaped rotor within a stator having a female-screw-shaped insertion hole, an application device including the fluid transfer device, and an application method. Solution: A fluid transfer device 1 includes: an outer cylinder 10; a stator 11 that has a female-screw-shaped insertion hole 12 as a through-hole and is provided on an inner periphery of the outer cylinder; and a male-screw-shaped rotor 20 that is connected to a rotor driving part and eccentrically rotates in contact with an inner periphery of the stator.
Abstract: A vehicle, a vehicle fuel reactant leak detection system, a computer program product, and a computer implemented method of detecting leakage of a fuel reactant from a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more fuel cell modules, a fuel supply source to supply a fuel reactant to the one or more fuel cell modules via a high-pressure fuel supply line, a fuel supply valve configured to open and close fuel reactant flow through the high-pressure fuel supply line, and a computing device, operatively connected to the fuel supply source. The computing device includes one or more processors caused to conduct, in response to a detection as sensor data of pressure in the high-pressure fuel supply line when the vehicle engine is in a non-operating state, fuel pressure analysis of the sensor data, and detect, based on the fuel pressure analysis, leakage of the fuel reactant at the fuel supply valve.
