A user may access the platform to request the distribution of a digital contact card to recipient(s). In response to the request, the platform may generate a digital contact card for the user based on the previously specified style information, and distribute card(s) to the specified recipient(s). Techniques are also described for determining positions of various mobile devices (and associated users) in a room or other area, and presenting received contact card information in a user interface according to the determined positions.

    Abstract: A quench system includes an enclosure defining a quench chamber sized to receive hot castings, and bulk air fans in fluid communication with the quench chamber and configured to establish a bulk flow of cooling air that surrounds and extracts heat from the hot castings at a first cooling rate. The quench system also includes a pressurized cooling system in fluid communication with a plurality of nozzles within the quench chamber and configured to spray a plurality of a directed flows of cooling fluid onto the hot castings to extract heat at a second cooling rate. The quench system further includes a programmable controller configured to sequentially activate the bulk air fans to cool the casting at the first cooling rate for a first predetermined period of time, and then activate the pressurized cooling system to cool the casting at the second cooling rate for a second predetermined period of time.

In examples, the regrowth takes place over exposed portions of the channel layer in the source and drain regions of the device, and the regrown material has a composition different from the barrier layer. In other examples, the regrowth takes place on the barrier layer, only in the access region or regions. Devices made according to the disclosed methods are also provided.

    Abstract: A method for combined rolling and extruding of cast billet is proposed. When implementing the method for combined rolling and extruding of metals or alloys, a cast billet with a predetermined temperature is fed to the working gauge, in which it is rolled and then to the die, through which the cast billet is extruded. When the cast billet is fed into the working gauge, a cladding layer of metal or alloy is created on the surfaces of the rolls by extruding the cast billet through the gaps formed between the surfaces of the rolls and the die. This invention makes it possible to improve the quality of the resulting products, as well as to increase the efficiency of the process as a whole.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for managing an electric power delivery system. The systems and methods may limit generated power of the power delivery system from surpassing a load demand, in order to avoid system instability. The systems and methods may receive an excess generation value and manage generators to runback and/or shed to maintain excess generation below a threshold. The systems and methods may determine a plurality of generator groups for runback. The runback capacity of the generators may be compared against the excess generation. If the excess generation is not greater than the runback capacity, the systems and methods may select generator groups until the runback capacity of the selected groups is greater than the excess generation, and may runback those generators according to runback set points. The unselected generators may continue normal operation to be available for another runback request.

Accordingly, some embodiments may compensate for the processing speed of an IED by determining a number of processor cycles needed (in advance) to issue a control command so that the resulting action results in the desired point on wave open or close.
