Abstract: A medication dispensing system includes an automated dispensing device that includes cells with electronically activated locks. The device is configured to detect when medication counts in the cells fall below predetermined thresholds. The system further includes a plurality of first electronic devices that are associated with some of the cells and that have imagers. In response to any of the medication counts in the cells being below the predetermined threshold, the automated dispensing device is configured to automatically send a replenishment needed notification to the first electronic device associated with the cell. That first electronic device is configured to transmit a picture of a medication to a second electronic device. In response to a positive verification by a user of the second electronic device that the medication in the picture is the correct medication, the second electronic device is configured to transmit an unlock signal to the automated dispensing device.

Abstract: A drug dispensing system includes fulfillment stations that are each characterized by a set of dispensary attributes. The fulfillment stations each, in response to receiving a first order message including a first unique drug identifier, fill a container with pills matching the first unique drug identifier. A routing determination module, for each order message corresponding to a prescription order, selects one of the fulfillment stations based on compatibility between dispensary attributes for the selected fulfillment station and dispensation preferences related to the order message and transmits the order message to the selected fulfillment station. An order status subsystem conditionally sends a cancellation instruction relating to one of the order messages to the respective fulfillment station to cancel dispensing of pills.

Abstract: A computer system includes an input configured to receive a first image of medication located in a receptacle, memory, and a processor configured to execute instructions including creating a second image based on the first image, dividing pixels of the second image into first and second subsets, and scanning the second image along a first axis to count, for each point along the first axis, a number of pixels in the first subset along a line perpendicular to the first axis that intersects the first axis at the point. The instructions also include estimating positions of first and second edges of the receptacle along the first axis based on the counts of the pixels, defining an opening of the receptacle based on the estimated positions of the first and second edges, and outputting a processed image that indicates areas of the image that are outside of the defined opening.

Abstract: Methods and systems for displaying information in augmented reality are described. In one embodiment, a system comprises a camera, a memory, a display, and a processor configured to (a) detect a first prescription drug in a field of view of a camera by detecting a glyph printed on a label on a container of the first prescription drug, (b) determine a first identifier associated with the first prescription drug using optical character recognition, (c) determine whether a user has access to additional data about the first prescription drug, (d) request the additional data about the first prescription drug from a database, and (e) display the additional data in augmented reality adjacent to the first prescription drug on the display such that the additional data moves when the field of view of the camera changes such that the additional data remains displayed adjacent to the first prescription drug.

Abstract: A pharmacy order processing system includes a container disassembly workstation defining a container disassembly workspace and a bulk container area including a plurality of bulk containers configured to receive a plurality of pharmaceuticals. The container disassembly workstation includes a holding area, a cutter device, a container manipulation device, a pharmaceutical receptacle, and a container receptacle. The cutter device includes a cutter head and is configured to cut through at least one wall of at least one container to separate at least a first portion of the at least one container of the plurality of containers from a second portion of the at least one container when the at least one container is in a cutter position. The container manipulation includes a gripper device and is configured to move the at least one container between at least the holding position and the cutter position within the container disassembly workspace.

Abstract: Data threat evaluation systems and methods are described. A data model structure includes a data subset from the plurality of data types that predate a known threat; this third data subset includes data types from both a first data subset and a second data subset. A model schema extracts, from the data subset, data types of the first subset that predicate and indicate the threat, the model schema to produce at least an individualized data threat regression model, a script originator regression model, and a script filler data threat regression model using the extracted data types. The system may use the models back on the data set to identify potential threats. The system can operate to integrate data to predict fraud, waste or abuse.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical dispenser for dispensing a quantity of pharmaceuticals into a container includes a pharmaceutical counter to count and release the quantity of pharmaceuticals. A pharmaceutical outlet delivers the quantity of pharmaceuticals to the container. A pharmaceutical gate receives the quantity of pharmaceuticals from the pharmaceutical counter. The pharmaceutical gate includes a receiver sized and shaped to define a pharmaceutical receiving space to hold the quantity of pharmaceuticals. The receiver moves between a receiving position and a dispensing position. In the receiving position, the receiver receives the quantity of pharmaceuticals in the pharmaceutical receiving space from the pharmaceutical counter. In the dispensing position, the receiver dispenses the quantity of pharmaceuticals toward the pharmaceutical outlet.

Abstract: Method starts with processing, by a processor, audio signal to generate audio caller utterance. Processor generates an agent action ranking score associated with the audio caller utterance and determines whether the agent action ranking score is below a minimum threshold. In response to determining that the agent action ranking score is below the minimum threshold, processor generates a transcribed caller utterance using a speech-to-text processor and generates an identified task based on the transcribed caller utterance. Using the transcribed caller utterance and a task-specific agent coaching neural network associated with the identified task, processor generates an ideal response. Processor generates a feedback result and causes the feedback result to be displayed on a display device of the agent client device. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Abstract: A method includes maintaining a question repository in which each question corresponds to a set of decision trees. A distance matrix encodes a distance between each pair of questions. In response to a request for a new question, the method converts the new question into a set of tokens. For each question of the existing questions, the method determines a minimum distance between each token of the new question and the tokens of the question and sums the minimum distances to calculate a distance between the question and the new question. The method includes performing cluster analysis on the distance matrix. Performing cluster analysis includes normalizing the distance matrix and applying a hierarchical clustering process to the normalized distance matrix. Based on the cluster analysis, the method transmits an alternative question proposal or adds the new question to the question repository.

Abstract: Drug packets may be dispensed as a belt of drug packets. Machine-readable identifiers in the belt may be automatically read to identify drug packets and associate the drug packets with the received orders. The drug packets may be automatically inspected to confirm contents of the drug packets against the received orders. The belt may be automatically separated into segments of drug packets. Each of the segments may correspond to a supply period and each of the drug packets within each of the segments may correspond to a drug dose event for the multi-drug regimen within the supply period. The segments of the belt may be automatically accumulated into belt rolls such that, for each of the belt rolls, a first segment end is on an interior of the belt roll and a second segment end is on an exterior of the belt roll.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical order filling system includes an order processing device, an automated dispensing device in communication with the order processing device for dispensing a pharmaceutical into a container. The system includes pallets for transporting containers and a container sorting device in communication with the order processing device, the container sorting device for transferring the containers from the pallets to distribution areas. The container sorting device includes a pallet unloading area for retaining a pallet in a pallet unloading position, an exception conveyor, a standard order conveyor, and a container manipulation device including a gripper assembly for moving containers in order from pallets to the exception conveyor or the standard order conveyor.

Abstract: A system comprising a staging area and a packing area. The staging area may include a plurality of staging bins and a shuttle moveable along the plurality of staging bins. A staging bin of the plurality of staging bins may be configured to selectively retain a component of an order therein. Such staging bin may be configured to selectively release the component to the shuttle. The packing area may include a slide, a scanner, and a wrap seal conveyor. The shuttle may be configured to release the component onto the slide, and the scanner may be operable to scan and verify the component during placement of the component onto the wrap seal conveyor.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical order filling system receives pharmaceutical orders and uses a loading device to label containers and load the labeled containers onto a pallet. The loading device is configured with at least one container drop assembly that receives containers to be labelled and loaded onto the pallet and that is in communication with a label assembly configured to print and apply labels to the containers. The loading device also includes at least one loading rotary wheel configured to receive the labelled containers and hold the labelled containers in a pick position to be moved from the pick position to a predetermined position on the pallet. The loading device may be configured to accommodate multiple sizes of containers and to consolidate multiple sizes of labelled containers into a single loading rotary wheel for loading onto the pallet.

Abstract: A system for integrating a telephone system and a computing system includes an interactive voice response (IVR) platform configured to: obtain a command based on an audio input from a user, determine a web application that corresponds to the command, determine a goal in the web application associated with the command, and obtain information indicating a shortest user interface path to the goal. The system includes a cobrowse client configured to receive a document object model (DOM) of a current state of the web application from a cobrowse session. The IVR platform is configured to, based on the DOM, determine a next user interface action along the shortest user interface path and generate a voice prompt for the user based on the next user interface action. The cobrowse client is configured to receive an updated DOM in response to execution by the user of the next user interface action.

Abstract: A method includes receiving an access feature request for utilization of a feature in a computing system, determining a system requestor associated with the access feature request, determining an achievement associated with the feature, accessing a plurality of first document types associated with the system requestor, determining that a document of the plurality of first document types reflects successful completion of the achievement, and providing a system access to the feature based on a determination that the document reflects successful completion of the achievement.

Abstract: Systems and methods for integrating data are described. In an example embodiment, a plurality of data attributes of comparison data and the plurality of data attributes of a master record are respectively compared to determine that there is a difference, the comparison data originating from a data source. A relative level of source priority of the data source of the comparison data is determined relative to the data source of a current state version of the master record in accordance with source evaluation criteria. The current state version of the master record is stored in reference data based on a determination that there is a difference and that the source priority of the data source of the comparison data is equal to or greater than the data source of the current state version of the master record.

Abstract: A computerized method of location-based automatic wireless distribution includes receiving a claim from a selected pharmacy associated with a drug benefit plan. The claim indicates a first prescription drug to be administered by the selected pharmacy to a member. The method includes determining a current geographic location of the member, accessing previously adjudicated claim data of the member that is indicative of locations of a plurality of pharmacies where the member previously obtained prescription drug fills, and selecting a drug benefit plan action based on a determination of whether the current geographic location of the member satisfies a pharmacy location criterion associated with the location of at least one other pharmacy of the plurality of pharmacies that is not the selected pharmacy. The method further includes automatically transmitting a drug benefit notification to a mobile electronic device of the member via at least one wireless network.
