Abstract: Pneumatic spring, comprising a spring bellows acting as a rolling bellows, whereby the spring bellows borders a spring chamber filled with gas under pressure. The gas is supplied to the spring chamber by means of a pressure connection, whereby the spring bellows is connected on one hand to an axially-movable outer tube, and on the other hand via a roll-off tube. The roll-off tube is engaged with a spring bracket, and the roll-off tube, together with a mounting device on the spring bracket, forms a locking connection which locking connection defines the axial position of the roll-off tube.
Abstract: A self-actuating vibration damper for use in a pneumatic suspension system of a motor vehicle having an air spring that defines an air chamber is disclosed. Located within the air chamber is an actuator rod mounted between two air valves. Upon application of a sufficiently heavy load to the vibration damper, a first end of the actuator rod closes the first air valve to prevent release of air from the air chamber to the outside atmosphere, and a second end of the actuator rod opens the second valve to admit compressed air into the air chamber.

Abstract: A flywheel with two centrifugal masses having a hub disc and a cover-like actuator element, on which flywheel both the hub disc and the cover-like actuator element are designed so that the two parts actuate friction devices which act independently of one another. The one friction device is designed to prevent the loss of the screws used for the fastening to the crankshaft.
Abstract: A membrane or plate spring clutch on which there is an automatic wear adjustment mechanism, which wear adjustment mechanism takes into consideration only a portion of the wear which has occurred, and guarantees the required application force on the friction linings of the clutch disc, so that the torque transmission capability of the friction clutch remains constant over its entire useful life.
Abstract: A friction clutch with a plate spring and a mechanism to compensate for wear of the friction linings, whereby there is a disengagement element approximately in the form of a membrane spring which exerts a lifting force on the plate spring or the application plate, with the interposition of the wear compensation mechanism. The wear compensation mechanism includes at least one ring-shaped component to which torque is applied by a spring force, and which has inclined partial surfaces on its circumference which engage in corresponding opposite surfaces.
Abstract: A membrane spring clutch with an automatic wear compensation mechanism. This mechanism provides a ring element between the outside circumference of the membrane spring and the application plate, which ring element is in contact with the application plate and an encircling ring surface, and is provided with oblique surfaces facing the membrane spring. The corresponding opposite surfaces in the membrane spring are produced by plastic deformation of areas of the membrane spring.
Abstract: A vibration damper between a vehicle body and/or a vehicle axle, comprising a cylinder in which a piston rod is guided so that it can move axially, whereby the piston rod is connected by way of a first connection to a bearing, and the cylinder is connected by way of an additional connection to a corresponding bearing, whereby the vibration damper runs through at least one bearing and has a self-locking closure by way of at least one radially movable flexible tab. The at least one radially movable flexible tab, by way of its end surface, forms a support for the vibration damper at the bearing in question for one direction, whereby the flexible tab(s) is/are accessible in the release direction, and an elastic clamping body is provided for the opposite direction, so that the vibration damper is restrained by way of the end surface and the clamping body.

Abstract: A system for engaging or disengaging a friction clutch has at least one drive, which drive is connected to an energy accumulator and is intended to move against the force of a spring mechanism of a friction clutch. The system can have at least one adjusting mechanism for the drive to compensate for the axial shift resulting from the change in position of the spring mechanism due to wear on the friction clutch. This adjusting mechanism can include an actuating mechanism connected to the transfer element. The actuating mechanism can be moved in the direction of motion of the drive, and can include a retaining mechanism which restricts the extension of the actuating mechanism by means of a stop. The retaining mechanism, by means of a retaining force, secures the orientation of the stroke of the actuating mechanism against an axial displacement until an axial shift occurs due to wear of the friction clutch.
Abstract: A motor vehicle friction clutch with a pressure plate which is fastened with the interposition of a clutch disc with friction linings to a flywheel, and which has a common axis of rotation with the flywheel, comprising an application plate located non-rotationally--but so that it can move axially--in a clutch housing, and an application means to apply the application force, is designed so that the amount of work which must be performed by an application means for the engagement and release of the clutch becomes minimal.
Abstract: A shock absorber with a pneumatic spring, has a spring carrier against which a roller tube is braced, which roller tube together with a spring bellows and an outer tube forms a spring chamber. There can also be an end cap braced against that end of the spring carrier facing the outer tube, wherein that the roller tube and the end cap are connected to form a structural unit, whereby the connection permits axial relative movement between the end cap and the roller tube, at least for assembly.
Abstract: A flywheel arrangement has a first flywheel releasably connected with the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, a second flywheel rotatable relative to the first flywheel, and a torque carrier including a torsional vibration damper disposed between the two flywheels in a chamber at least partially filled with a viscous medium. The chamber is bounded on its side facing the second flywheel by a cover plate, which cover plate coordinates preferably with a seal disposed in the radially inward region of the cover plate. The seal has a plurality of sealing elements disposed one after another in the discharge direction of the viscous medium, and the sealing elements are installed up to gap width on the respective associated components to be sealed, whereby at least one of these sealing elements is associated with a flow guide which is used to divert viscous medium into a return channel leading into the chamber.
Abstract: A friction clutch/flywheel assembly includes a flywheel with a predetermined diametral area designed to hold a preferably cylindrical wall of a basin-shaped clutch housing, so that the clutch housing does not rotate and is also secured against axial movement with respect to the flywheel. The assembly is designed so that there is a clamping device allocated to at least one of the flywheel or the clutch housing, which clamping device is designed to be located in the contact area between the cylindrical wall of the clutch housing and the predetermined diametral area of the flywheel. By means of this clamping device, the flywheel and clutch housing can be held in a non-positive connection with one another.

Abstract: Air suspension system with a compressed air container of an air suspension system for a motor vehicle with a vehicle frame and a vehicle body, comprising a number of elastic air springs which are connected to the reservoir, whereby the air springs and the reservoir are to be considered as compressed air containers, characterized by the fact that at least one compressed air container is located inside a cavity formed by at least one vehicle part which is independent of the air suspension system strictly speaking.
Abstract: A transmission of a motor vehicle can have a friction clutch with a torsional vibration damper and a clutch disc. In the friction clutch there can be a control plate for the control of a friction action as a function of the torsion angle, which control plate can be centered in one direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation by means of at least two diagonally opposite stop edges.
