Abstract: Knuckle eye, in particular for a vibration damper, comprising a plastic body which has a transverse opening for a fastening device, a connection opening for the connection to the unit to be supported, whereby the connection opening has a metal reinforcement sleeve to increase the strength of the connection. The reinforcement sleeve, by way of a portion which deviates from the uniformly round shape, forms a positive or interlocking connection with the plastic body, whereby a reinforcement band is inserted into the plastic body concentric to the transverse opening, which reinforcement band partly surrounds the reinforcement sleeve in the vicinity of the positive connection.
Abstract: A shock absorber or vibration damper with a securing element which has a ring area for the axial fixing and securing of ring-shaped components, in particular for securing guide bushings and gaskets for the piston rod of a hydraulic vibration damper. The securing element is characterized by a plurality of projections which project axially to locate and fix the position of a cylindrical body, whereby the projections extend from the ring area, and the projections are bent out of the securing element. The cylindrical body secured by the projections can possibly be the inner tube of a two-tube vibration damper or a decompression stop spring. The invention teaches that the securing element can be used to perform multiple functions in part by securing multiple components.
Abstract: A hydraulic rotary actuator has a housing with at least one rib on its inside wall and a motor shaft with at least one vane on its outside shell surface, whereby the housing with its ribs and the motor shaft with its vanes form a working chamber which is closed off on the ends by means of a cap. The piston body is in a disc-shape, is in one piece and is manufactured by stamping. Starting from the piston base body, the piston body areas which are raised on one side of the piston are depressions on the axially opposite side of the piston. The piston ring is able to move axially as a function of the direction of movement, and is actuated by the friction force between the cylinder tube and the piston ring.
Abstract: A cylinder for hydraulic systems, in particular for motor vehicles, generally includes a housing having an axial hole in which a piston is guided so that the piston can be displaced axially. The cylinder is provided with at least one connection designed as a plug-in connection, for the insertion of at least one pressure medium line having a radially expanded portion on its outside diameter. The plug-in connection of the cylinder is designed so that both the expense for components and for labor required to fasten the pressure medium line to the connection of the cylinder can be minimized.

Abstract: A clutch disc for a motor vehicle clutch which has an input part and an output part with relative rotational play. A friction device is located between the input part and output part. The friction device includes a friction disc located non-rotationally on the input part or on the output part, which friction disc has friction areas which have different coefficients of friction around its periphery, There also are contact areas which in the effective range of angular rotation of the clutch disc move essentially from one friction area at least partly to another friction area.
Abstract: Shock absorber valve for a hydraulic telescoping strut shock absorber, in which, running through a valve body, there are passages whose respective outlet-side openings are covered by ring-shaped valve discs, whereby the valve discs and the valve body are fastened and axially braced in line. The object of the invention is to make possible fully-automated assembly with short cycle times using the dry process, whereby a valve closing force independent of tolerances is achieved by using a method which generates as few chips from cutting and machining as possible. To achieve this object, the invention teaches that the valve discs and the valve body are threaded and prestressed onto a cylindrical component, whereby a fastening element is fixed to the cylindrical component.
Abstract: A shock absorber with a pneumatic spring, comprising an outer suspension tube and an inner suspension tube of a suspension unit, whereby elastic roller bellows are connected to the outer and inner suspension tubes, forming a spring chamber. The roller bellows are crimped on one end to the inner suspension tube. When the shock absorber with a pneumatic spring is fully assembled, a safety device is located on the pneumatic spring which centers the outer suspension tube in relation to the inner suspension tube, so that contact between the crimped part and the adjacent roller bellows is prevented, thereby preventing damage to the roller bellows.
Abstract: Telescoping vibration damper consisting of a work cylinder, a piston which is guided on a piston rod and divides the work cylinder into two work chambers, and passages in the piston which empty on at least one end into a ring-shaped chamber, the encircling control edges of which are covered by valve plates, whereby there is at least one additional valve plate located at some axial distance from the first valve plate, which together with a support element forms an additional ring-shaped chamber, whereby the first and additional ring-shaped chambers are connected to one another by means of a flow connection.
Abstract: A clutch disc for a motor vehicle clutch, the clutch disc having an idle suspension system and a load suspension system. The idle springs of the idle suspension system are located in the hub disc and are actuated by means of a control plate. The control plate includes axially bent control tabs which engage the idle springs of the idle suspension system, whereby the width of the idle springs can be approximately equal to the thickness of the hub disc.
Abstract: A flywheel device having two flywheel masses which are deflectable relative to each other. Within one of the masses a grease chamber is provided along with packings against the emergence of viscous medium. One of the packings rests against a sealing seat which is developed on a structural part of one of the flywheel masses and another one of the packings is also provided on a structural part of the flywheel mass. Under axial initial stress the two packings are brought to rest against, in each case, one side of a bearing. At least one of the structural parts of the flywheel mass which has a sealing seat is adapted to receive both the bearing and the packing and has recesses in which the holder of the packing can be inserted for axially securing the packings with respect to the structural part on the one hand and with respect to the bearing on the other hand.

Abstract: A membrane spring clutch, in particular for motor vehicles, includes a clutch housing, a pressure plate for the transmission of the application pressure to friction linings and a membrane spring. In the area between the membrane spring and the pressure plate there is located an insulating member. The insulating member minimizes heat conduction from the pressure plate to the membrane spring to minimize distortion of the membrane spring from thermal conduction of heat from the pressure plate to the membrane spring.

One of the transmission elements has control means for a spring device. There are centrifugal masses corresponding respectively to the driving-side transmission element and to the driven-side transmission element, at least one of which centrifugal masses is connected by means of the spring device to at least one element of the planetary gearset which acts as an intermediate mass, whereby the intermediate mass can be driven in a movement which is a function of the speed and direction of rotation of the two centrifugal masses with respect to one another.
Abstract: An actuator cylinder for the engagement and release of the friction clutch of a motor vehicle is described. The actuator has a device to indicate clutch engagement position, which is located outside the cylinder. A piston is disposed within the actuator cylinder. The piston has an actuator rod which extends through a cylinder end to operate a clutch. The device to detect the engagement position of the clutch is designed to adjust to the range of movement of the piston, which range of movement changes with clutch wear. The detection device is a displacement transducer. A housing, in which the transducer is mounted, moves as the range of motion of the piston changes with clutch wear. A rod or sensor mounted on the piston both interacts with the transducer to indicate the clutch engagement position and moves the housing of the transducer.
