Patent number: 11125035Abstract: This disclosure presents methods and systems for positioning a magnetic fluid conditioner in a well. One or more magnetic fluid conditioners are attached to a coupling mandrel operable to engage with the tubing of a well, either with an existing completion component or directly with the tubing. The coupling mandrel includes a locking mechanism, such as keys or dogs, for setting the mandrel to the profile nipple. The coupling mandrel further includes a packing stack or an expandable element that seals with the completion component or the tubing. The seal directs oil through the mandrel and thus, through the magnetic fluid conditioners. In some embodiments, multiple magnetic fluid conditioners are attached in tandem for more effective conditioning operations. The magnetic fluid conditioners can condition the oil to inhibit the formation of paraffin therein.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2016Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Assignee: Flo-Rite Fluids, Inc.Inventor: John W. Patent number: 11112134Abstract: An air conditioning system includes a housing defining a first airflow path therein between an outside air inlet over a cooling coil and an outlet for delivering outside air from the outside air inlet over the coil to the outlet, a second airflow path between a return air inlet over the cooling coil and to the outlet for delivering return air over the cooling coil, and a third airflow path between the return air inlet and the outlet for delivering return air through the housing without passing over the cooling coil. The system includes outside, return, and bypass air dampers that are sequentially moveable between open and closed positions for directing air through or preventing air from entering the first, second, and third airflow paths, respectively. A controller independently controls the opening and closing of each damper in response to data received from the sensor.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2017Date of Patent: September 7, 2021Assignee: FLO ENERGY SOLUTIONS INC.Inventors: Bryan Cyril Elliott, Phillip Walker, Martin E. Patent number: 11073225Abstract: Valve system with rotary stepping actuator to actuate a valve stem. An actuator drive shaft supported for stepwise rotation imparts rotation to a valve stem nut to axially move a valve stem to open and close valve flow trim. The drive shaft forms peripheral first and second slotted circular drive paths co-axially spaced from each other. Actuation assemblies releasably engage forward or reverse ratchet pawls in a drive shaft slot to incrementally rotate the drive shaft in forward or reverse steps. One or both of the forward and reverse ratchet pawls is one of a plurality of ratchet pawls, such that each forward or reverse step by one of the plurality of ratchet pawls incrementally rotates the drive shaft through a partial forward or reverse step which is a fraction of a predetermined angular increment set by the slot spacing.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2018Date of Patent: July 27, 2021Assignee: Master Flo Valve Inc.Inventors: Yan Gregory Klyashitsky, Anwar Abdul Sleiman

Publication number: 20210215528Abstract: A low power consumption fluid leak or overflow detection device for a fluid tank includes a fluid level switch disposed within the tank having a float. The float moves with a fluid level within the tank from a starting position to a second position. An electronic circuit is configured to be electrically disconnected from a power source when the float is in the starting position. The electronic circuit is configured to be electrically connected to the power source when the float is in the second position and activate a timer having a preset time limit, which if reached sends an alarm signal to an alarm indicator. The alarm indicator notifies a resident of a potential problem that can be fixed. The low power consumption leak or overflow detection device only uses power when the fluid level drops or rises thereby greatly extending the life of the battery.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 29, 2021Publication date: July 15, 2021Applicant: Flo Technologies, Inc.Inventor: Henry M. Patent number: 11047486Abstract: An expanding gate valve and method is provided for bidirectional sealing capability against pressure, whether the direction of pressure is upstream or downstream. The bidirectional annular seat seals against the gate assembly against pressure from the normal wellhead direction, typically upstream. For sealing against pressure in the opposite direction, the seat is formed with an annular recess extending radially outwardly from the central bore of the annular seat so that a flex portion of the seat formed between the recess and the front sealing face of the annular seat at the central bore flexes toward the gate assembly against this pressure. The front face of the bidirectional seat forms a raised annular sealing portion on the flex portion of the seat adjacent the central bore to provide sealing contact with the gate assembly in the expanded condition when the flex portion flexes toward the gate assembly.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2018Date of Patent: June 29, 2021Assignee: Stream-Flo Industries Ltd.Inventors: Keith David Farquharson, Tianle Guo, Thomas L. Gust, Tony M. Lam, Andrew Francis Masson

Patent number: 11047756Abstract: An electronic sensor includes a housing having a distal end configured to be exposed to a flow of a fluid media opposite a proximal end configured not to be exposed to the fluid media. A chamber and connected passageway are disposed within the housing. The passageway is connected at one end to the chamber and connected at another end to an opening disposed at the distal end of the housing. The opening is configured to be in fluidic communication with the fluid media. A pressure sensor and a first temperature sensor are disposed within the chamber. A viscous gel is disposed within the chamber, the viscous gel separating on a first side both the pressure sensor and the first temperature sensor apart from the passageway on a second side of the viscous gel. The chamber can include a non-smooth surface to increase viscous gel adhesion.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2019Date of Patent: June 29, 2021Assignee: Flo Technologies, Inc.Inventor: Henry M. Halimi

Patent number: 10962993Abstract: A fluid control device connectable to a fluid pipe includes an electric motor mechanically connected to a fluid valve configured to open and close the fluid valve. A manual motor disengagement knob is at least partially accessible to a user and mechanically connected to the fluid valve. The knob is configured to manually disengage the mechanical connection between the electric motor and the fluid valve while still engaging the fluid valve allowing the user to manually close or open the fluid valve without the assistance or interference of the electric motor. This is accomplished by a manual over-ride primary shaft translatably connected to a clutch shaft and in turn to the fluid valve, where the shaft in a first position is mechanically connected to the electric motor and in a second position the shaft is not mechanically connected to the electric motor.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2018Date of Patent: March 30, 2021Assignee: FLO TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventor: Henry M.
