Abstract: A method for recognizing an object comprises storing a reference reflection characteristic for each of classes based on modeling radar reflection signal data for each of objects corresponding to each of the classes, determining, among the classes, a class of a reference reflection characteristic of a high similarity with a reflection characteristic of received signal data transmitted from a radar, and identifying a target object of the received signal data based on the determined class and outputting information of the target object.

Abstract: In accordance with various embodiments, an electronic device for colorizing a black and white image using a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN)-based model comprising a transformer block includes a processor, wherein the processor is set to: obtain a black and white image including only first information about a luminance channel; and generate a pseudo color image including only second information about a chrominance channel by applying the black and white image to the GAN-based model, the GAN-based model includes a generator network including a plurality of transformer blocks for color conversion, a plurality of convolution layers, and a plurality of transpose convolution layers, the plurality of transformer blocks each include a Depth Wise Convolution (DWC) layer, a first Layer Normalization (LN) layer, a Window-based Multi-head Self Attention (W-MSA) layer, a second LN layer, and a Colorization Feed Forward (CFF) block. Other various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: A trocar site closure clip includes a generally triangular central body, a pair of arms extending from the body, and an elongated support extending from the body between the arms. In use, the clip is advanced into a patient through a trocar, the trocar removed, then the clip partially retracted to engage and pierce the patient's tissue. The biodegradable clip remains in the patient's tissue, at least partially blocking the trocar site, and degrades over time as the patient heals.

Abstract: Disclosed are a display device and a method for driving a pixel of the display device. The device and method is capable of securing a time to sense a threshold voltage of a driving transistor and of compensating for the threshold voltage during operation of the pixel. Each of a plurality of pixels has a 5T1C structure including first to fourth transistors and a driving transistor. The first to fourth transistors are configured to apply driving signals through first to fourth scan lines, respectively. Thus, even without increasing the number of driving signals applied to each pixel, a long time for sensing a threshold voltage of each pixel can be secured.
