  • Patent number: 7704685
Abstract: A method of producing in a cell in vivo a clostridial neurotoxin light chain peptide by delivering into the cell in vivo a nucleic acid construct. The nucleic acid construct comprises (a) a nucleic acid encoding a clostridial neurotoxin light chain peptide and (b) a regulatory sequence operably linked to the nucleic acid to allow expression of the nucleic acid. • Patent number: 7705644
Abstract: A broadband multi-phase output delay locked loop (DLL) circuit can be operated in a wide range of frequencies and generate various phases. Unlike conventional voltage control delay lines in which delay cells are connected in series, the DLL circuit utilizes a delay matrix in which a resistant network is used so that the number of delay cells connected in series is reduced, various phases can be outputted, and a delay interval error (phase error) due to the resistant network is minimized. The current of the delay cells is controlled so that the delay cells in the delay matrix can operate in a wide range of frequencies, and load capacitance values of capacitors connected in parallel in the delay cells can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 7706600
Abstract: Virtual navigation (2255) and examination of virtual objects are enhanced using methods of insuring that an entire surface to be examined has been properly viewed. A user interface (FIG. 23) identifies regions which have not been subject to examination and provides a mechanism (2250) to route the user to these regions in the 3D display. Virtual examination is further improved by the use of measuring disks (905) to enhance quantitative measurements such as diameter, distance, volume and angle. Yet another enhancement to the virtual examination of objects is a method of electronic segmentation, or cleaning, which corrects for partial volume effects occurring in an object.

  • Patent number: 7704393
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a hollow fiber membrane module which maximizes the efficiency of removing scale-like contaminants generated at the water treatment using hollow fiber membranes, and a method of manufacturing the same. The hollow fiber membrane module includes hollow fiber membranes for making water treatment due to the pressure difference, and a collector fixing the hollow fiber membranes in bundle. A treated-water tube is extended to the inside of the collector, and communicated with the inner passage of the hollow fiber membranes to deliver the water treated through the hollow fiber membranes. A diffuser is installed at the collector to diffuse bubbles to the hollow fiber membranes. An air tube is extended to the collector, and connected to the diffuser to feed air. Dividers are installed over the collector to partition the hollow fiber membranes into a plurality of bundles.

  • Patent number: 7705597
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for acquiring magnetic resonance data, a region of a subject is exposed to a spin echo magnetic resonance pulse sequence that includes a refocusing radio-frequency pulse flip angle evolution that causes magnetic resonance signals to be emitted from the region with a signal evolution following each excitation radio-frequency pulse. The signal evolution is sampled to extract two or more sets of sampled data therefrom respectively with different contrast weightings of tissues in the region. The multiple sets of sampled data are made available as respective outputs in a form allowing multiple different images of the region to be generated therefrom, respectively with said different contrast weightings. For example, a spin density-weighted image and a T2-weighted image, or a T2-weighted image and a heavily T2-weighted image, thus can be generated by sampling from the same variable-flip-angle echo train.
