Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a method for operating a receiving device in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a signal from a transmitting device which includes a plurality of transmit antennas, determining, based on the signal, multiple symbol vectors from symbol vectors possibly transmitted from a first transmit antenna and a second transmit antenna of the plurality of transmit antennas, and determining combinations of symbols transmitted from the first transmit antenna and the second transmit antenna by searching, for each of the multiple symbol vectors, at least one other symbol vector within a first preset distance from each of the multiple symbol vectors.

Abstract: Provided is a method for increasing the lifetime of devices of a cluster-tree structured multi-hop wireless communication system which uses a battery as the main power and includes an access point (AP) managing network operation and a plurality of devices connected to the AP, wherein some network devices operates as a router capable of having its child devices, the rest of the network device operate as an end device incapable of having its child devices, and the AP, the routers, and the end devices are connected in a parent-child device relationship. The method includes equalizing the average power consumption of each device by exchanging the roles of the router and the end device requiring different power consumption without interrupting normal network operation.

Abstract: Provided is a cancer cell growth inhibition and killing device using a blue light LED. Abstract: An associative processor separates the arithmetic operation of addition from the carry process to pre-compute contingent carries before the addition which then allows improved parallelism in the addition process. Abstract: Immunogenic compositions and methods of using them include a biodegradable or bioerodible polyanhydride nanoparticle comprising 1,8-bis(p-carboxyphenoxy)-3,6-dioxaoctane (CPTEG) and 1,6-bis(p-carboxyphenoxy)hexane (CPH) copolymers, an immunogenic protein of an Influenza Virus and an adjuvant entrapped within an interior of the nanoparticle, and an excipient. Abstract: A method of determining stress within a composite structure is provided which includes coupling a sensor to a composite structure under load having embedded therein a plurality of particles, wherein the particles at room temperature are paraelectric or ferroelectric, transmitting an electromagnetic radiation to the sensor, thereby generating an electromagnetic field into the composite structure, sweeping frequency from a first frequency to a second frequency in a pulsed manner, receiving reflected power from the composite structure, determining the resonance frequency of the sensor, and translating the resonance frequency of the sensor to stress within the composite structure.
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an organic electroluminescent element having optimal light emitting characteristics.
