Abstract: A seat adapter removably mounts a child seat to a wagon having two opposing walls and an interposed connecting wall, and includes two latch components that mount to the wagon's opposing walls. In some embodiments, the seat adapter includes a cross-member extending between the latch components so that the cross-member provides structural integrity to the wagon if the connecting wall is displaced from its upright use position. In some embodiments, the seat adapter and the child seat can be mounted to the wagon for use with the connecting wall in its upright use position, and in some embodiments the seat adapter and the child seat can be mounted to the wagon for use whether the connecting wall is in its upright use position or its displaced position, with no mechanical interference between any part of the wagon and any part of the adapter or the child seat mounted to it.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computing system program products for elimination of rounding error accumulation in iterative calculations for Big Data or streamed data. Embodiments of the invention include iteratively calculating a function for a primary computation window of a pre-defined size while incrementally calculating the function for one or more backup computation windows started at different time points and whenever one of the backup computation windows reaches a size of the pre-defined size, swapping the primary computation window and the backup computation window. The result(s) of the function is/are generated by either the iterative calculation performed for the primary computation window or the incremental calculation performed for a backup computation window which reaches the pre-defined size.

Abstract: A customizable ergonomic load-carrying vest-pack for goods of a person, including an adjustable belt system with an adjustable-length belt configured to encircle the waist of the person and a pair of adjustable shoulder supports. A middle portion of the pair of adjustable shoulder supports is spaced apart and adjustably joined together by a substantially horizontal adjustable-length chest strap that selectively secures the middle portion together and is selectively vertically adjustable in pre-defined vertical slots. An angularly extending adjustable-length shoulder strap connects with the left side or the right side of the adjustable belt system and is selectively horizontally adjustable in pre-defined horizontal slots located in the adjustable belt system. Collectively adjusting each of the adjustable-length belt, the substantially horizontal adjustable-length chest strap and each angularly extending adjustable-length shoulder strap enables a customized fit for the vest-pack to the person.

Abstract: A firewood sling includes a sheet of material with tensioners on opposing edges with a handle at one end. One or more roll straps are secured to the sheet and include fastening portions, at least one of which is adjustable in position. Pockets may be provided on one edge to receive cords engaging cord locks to form the tensioners. The pockets may include fasteners for holding them closed. The sling may include a wear resistant center portion and flexible side portions.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a modified rifle bolt carrier allowing a selectively openable vent/valve at the location where exhaust gas is pressurizing the bolt carrier to control carrier speed under suppressed fire in a first valve position or unsuppressed fire in a second valve position. A valve core is disclosed which may be rotated 180° to a first “open” setting for non-suppressed fire from its position in a “closed” position for suppressed fire, and a third “median” position. The modified bolt carrier will allow an operator of the firearm to adjust for a suppressor without changing the gas block or having to modify or adapt the front end or barrel end of the firearm.

Abstract: A ball turret includes a turret shell having a rear portion and a front portion. The rear portion and the front portion are assembled to form the turret shell. The shell includes a block assembly configured to mount to a mounting element of a weapon system, and a yoke carriage assembly configured to receive and mount to the block assembly. A number of guide rods within the turret shell are configured to mount the yoke carriage assembly thereto and to provide a recoil shock absorber in response to a discharge of the weapon system. The yoke carriage assembly is releasably mounted to the block assembly.

Abstract: A leash is described. It includes a length of strap extending between a first and a second end along a longitudinal axis. The strap is folded along the longitudinal axis to form a loop. The leash also includes a strap length adjustment mechanism attached to the strap intermediate the loop and a terminating end of the strap, wherein the terminating end is attached to attachment hardware configured to reversibly receive a collar of an animal. The adjustment mechanism has a length fixing configuration and an adjustment configuration, wherein the length fixing configuration is configured to prevent changes in the lengths of the loop of strap and the length of slack strap, and wherein the adjustment configuration is configured to allow for adjustment of the diameter of the loop of strap and the length of slack strap.

A spacer is located inside the body and separates the first internal portion from the second internal portion.
