Abstract: Products, processes, and kits are provided for compressing, containing, and carrying goods, particularly soft goods. Cinchable carrying bags are reconfigurable between and open, substantially flat configuration and the present disclosure relates to cinchable carrying bags, cases, or luggage. In particular, present disclosure relates to portable, soft-sided or textile bags configured for reducing the volume or footprint of a load of goods, such as soft goods, contained therein. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to reconfigurable bag templates configured for receiving a load of goods while in an open or substantially flat configuration, wrapping around the load of goods into a folded configuration, reducing the volume or footprint of the goods in a cinched configuration, and securing or containing the cinched goods in a closed configuration. The present disclosure relates to cinchable carrying bags, cases, or luggage.

Abstract: A fire starting device having a container with a base, wherein the base includes an open top, side walls, and a closed bottom. A lid is slidably connected to the open top of the base, and the container is closed by sliding the lid over the open top, and the container is opened by sliding the lid away from over the open top. Fire starting tinder is contained within the base that includes multiple planar layers of fabric impregnated with accelerant, and the lid is slid open to enable the fire starting tinder to burn within the base. The multiple planar layers of fabric of the fire starting tinder are achieved by folding over a single fabric multiple times.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computing system program products for decrementally calculating autocorrelation for Big Data. Embodiments of the invention include decrementally calculating one or more components of autocorrelation at a specified lag for an adjusted computation window based on the one or more components of an autocorrelation at the specified lag calculated for a previous computation window and then calculating the autocorrelation at the specified lag based on one or more of the decrementally calculated components. Decrementally calculating autocorrelation avoids visiting all data elements in the adjusted computation window and performing redundant computations thereby increasing calculation efficiency, saving computing resources and reducing computing system's power consumption.
Abstract: The location of lost or entangled fishing gear, known as derelict gear, is detected. The motion or change of position of a buoy attached to fishing gear is determined via sensors mounted on the buoy and compared to typical buoy motion. If the buoy has moved beyond a threshold value from its original location, an alert is sent to the fisherman. The available sensor data will be used to determine the likelihood of loss or entanglement. This alert facilitates recovery of lost or entangled gear by identifying where immediate retrieval efforts should be focused. The number of traps lost to the ocean that otherwise would continue to trap or entangle marine life may be reduced.
Abstract: A cart may include a door forming a bed of the cart and a pair of wheel attachment assemblies. Each wheel attachment assembly may include (a) a fender having a planar expanse configured to abut a lower major face of the door, (b) a clamping member coupled to the fender, the clamping member configured to be coupled to an upper major face of the door and abut an edge face of the door, and (c) a wheel fork coupled to the fender and configured to be coupled to an axle of a wheel.
