Publication number: 20050202077Abstract: Compositions for the treatment and/or prevention of IgE-mediated disorders in a mammal by means of RNA interference are provided, together with methods for the use of such compounds. The inventive compositions comprise a binding agent that specifically binds to a target internalizable antigen that is expressed on the surface of a target cell of interest and a genetic construct that is capable of expressing a small interfering nucleic acid molecule (siNA) that suppresses expression of a target gene within the target cell, whereby, after binding to the target antigen, the binding agent and genetic construct are internalized into the cell, and the genetic construct released.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 22, 2005Publication date: September 15, 2005Applicant: GENESIS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD.Inventors: James Watson, J. Publication number: 20050195140Abstract: A method for reducing a response time of the pixels corresponding to a period of time required for a selected pixel at a starting pixel value to reach a target pixel value. Providing an n×n factored zero diagonal LCD overdrive matrix and for a selected pixel at a particular start pixel value, selecting a particular target pixel value to be reached in one frame time, and determining a particular overdrive pixel value based upon the particular start pixel value and the particular target pixel value using the factored zero diagonal LCD overdrive matrix. When the start pixel value and the target pixel value are equal or almost equal in value, then setting the overdrive pixel value to a main diagonal pixel value such that the start pixel value is equal to the target pixel value.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2005Publication date: September 8, 2005Applicant: Genesis Microchip Inc.Inventor: Matthew Halfant

Publication number: 20050195176Abstract: An apparatus and method for processing Hsync and Vsync signals in graphic controllers to avoid a false reading of pulses caused by glitches. The apparatus and method involve detecting when the synch signal crosses the threshold for the first time. When this occurs, the output of the detection circuit is held for the predetermined period of time, even if subsequent transitions across threshold occur during this period. After the predetermined period expires, the output is released and may assume the same state as the input sync signal at that time. In this manner, a misinterpretation of the resolution format caused by the reading of a “false” pulse caused by a glitch on a sync signal can be avoided.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2004Publication date: September 8, 2005Applicant: Genesis Microchip Inc., A Delaware CorporationInventors: Ram Chilukuri, Lawrence Prather, Ramakrishna Venuthurupalli

Patent number: 6939246Abstract: A top loop fits around the neck of a golfer. A bottom loop fits around the mid-section of the golfer. An intermediate section containing a breakaway unit connects the top loop to the bottom loop. If the golfer projects an acceptable swing, the breakaway unit does not disengage until the golfer reaches the follow through mode. If the breakaway unit disengages during the downward or ball contact mode, then the swing has not been satisfactory.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2004Date of Patent: September 6, 2005Assignee: Genesis Creations Corp.Inventors: Michael A. Publication number: 20050186758Abstract: A technique for forming a film of material (12) from a donor substrate (10). The technique has a step of introducing energetic particles (22) through a surface of a donor substrate (10) to a selected depth (20) underneath the surface, where the particles have a relatively high concentration to define a donor substrate material (12) above the selected depth. An energy source is directed to a selected region of the donor substrate to initiate a controlled cleaving action of the substrate (10) at the selected depth (20), whereupon the cleaving action provides an expanding cleave front to free the donor material from a remaining portion of the donor substrate.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2003Publication date: August 25, 2005Applicant: Silicon Genesis CorporationInventors: Francois Henley, Nathan Cheung

Publication number: 20050184948Abstract: An extended overdrive table uses the saturation regions to store useful data that conformably extends the unsaturated region in a natural way. This extended overdrive table reduces the size of any interpolation errors when straddling crossover points to acceptable levels without requiring storing or using any crossover data. In addition, since the saturation regions are used to hold the new data, no additional storage requirements are introduced. The numeric range of the extended table is increased and it is therefore supposed that the bit depth of the table entries is increased, but the table can be resealed to retain the original bit depth with insignificant loss of accuracy. Also, the new data incorporated into the saturation regions allows run time calculation of the pixel attained at the end of the frame time that is needed as the start of the pixel for the next cycle.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2005Publication date: August 25, 2005Applicant: Genesis Microchip Inc.Inventor: Matthew Halfant

Patent number: 6933937Abstract: Pixel clock frequency and optimum sampling phase adjustment is an important requirement in Flat panel display monitors (FPDM) with an analog video interface. This invention proposes a new and more advanced method for frequency an optimum sampling phase determination. It is based on analyzing the content of the image to arrive at an optimum value of phase and frequency by directly optimizing image quality. The method differs from exsisting methods on two counts. First, no assumptions are needed about the precise value of expected frequency. Second, instead of following a two step approach of first determining frequency and then phase, this invention makes possible a single pass phase-frequency optimization.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2003Date of Patent: August 23, 2005Assignee: Genesis Microchip Inc.Inventors: Sandeep Agarwal, Arun Johary

Patent number: 6930827Abstract: A binocular device includes two observation optical systems, an additional optical system, and a viewfinder for the additional optical system. An image-capturing unit is movable between a first image-plane position of one of the observation optical systems and an image-plane position of the additional optical system by shifting a lens-switching lever. A switch of the image-capturing unit can be turned on and off by a camera switch lever. For an observation mode using the observation optical system, the image-capturing unit is set at the image-plane position of the additional optical system. For an image-capturing mode using the observation optical system, the image-capturing unit is set at the first image-plane position such that the switch of the image-capturing unit is turned on. For image-capturing using the additional optical system, the image-capturing unit is set at the image-plane position of the additional optical system such that the switch of the image-capturing unit is turned on.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2004Date of Patent: August 16, 2005Assignee: Genesis Technology Co., LTDInventor: Nobuo Komatsu

Patent number: 6926217Abstract: A heavy-duty demolition shear for attachment to the boom structure and hydraulic system of an excavator, has a rigid lower jaw and an upper jaw and pivot interconnecting the jaws together. The shear is attachable to the boom structure of the excavator. The upper jaw has upper shear blades, while the lower jaw has at least one lower shear blade. The lower jaw also has a rigid guide blade lying along the lower shear blade and in spaced relation therewith. The outer ends of the shear blade and guide blade are co-extensively opposed to each other so that a tie plate secures the outer ends of the lower shear blade and the guide blade together. Patent number: 6920434Abstract: A computerized system and method establishes a loan participation network between a plurality of network members. The network members complete application forms with member data and loan criteria, which is used to establish a loan participation database. When a network member has a loan participation opportunity, e.g., a borrower requests a loan from a network member, the network member completes a loan offering form with loan data for the loan participation opportunity. The system receives the loan participation offer from the offering network member and searches the database for loan data matching the loan participation data and obtains the matching loan data. The matching loan data and associated network member data is then transmitted to the offering member. The offering member selects one or more matching network members and transmits the selection(s) to the system. The system receives the selection from the offering network member and transmits offers to the selected network members.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 1998Date of Patent: July 19, 2005Assignee: Genesis Three CorporationInventor: Paul H.
