The end effector tool changer includes a robotic arm attachment portion, including a first magnetic part and a first engagement part, and a tool attachment portion, including a second magnetic part and a second engagement part, where the first engagement part is configured to engage with the second engagement part, the first engagement part and the second engagement part are selected from the group consisting of a pin and a socket, and the first magnetic part spatially and magnetically corresponds to the second magnetic part.
Abstract: Embodiments of a device and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for communications involves establishing a tunnel connection between a switch of a network and a gateway of the network and in response to a communications device connecting to a network port of the switch, conducting data traffic involving the communications device through the tunnel connection between the switch and the gateway.
Abstract: Embodiments of a device and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for wireless channel scanning involves performing a wireless local area network (WLAN) scan and a spectral scan on a first channel of a channel scan list, and at the wireless device, performing the WLAN scan and the spectral scan on a second channel of the channel scan list after the WLAN scan and the spectral scan on the first channel are completed.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to methods for improving traits or fitness in cattle, pigs, or aquatic organisms via gene editing. In particular, the methods comprise modifying genes in embryonic stem cells of livestock (e.g., cattle, pigs, or fish) for the purpose of improving a trait (e.g., promoting pathogen resistance, fertility, lactation, and native traits that support more rapid growth or feed efficiency). The methods particularly include CRISPR-CAS9 editing of porcine and bovine embryonic stem cells. Also disclosed herein are methods of producing and cultivating porcine embryonic stem cells under feeder free conditions.

Abstract: A physical card (in some cases without any on-board source of power or computing capabilities) is configured to maintain access information for digital bearer assets. A unique identifier visible on the card may be transmitted to a server-system to utilize functionalities corresponding to the card (e.g., based on information associated with the unique identifier) on a decentralized computing platform, like a blockchain-based decentralized computing platform. Private access information, like a secret, private key that corresponds to a public key (e.g., a public-private key-pair) or a representation of the private key (like a ciphertext thereof) and corresponding encryption key, may be physically concealed with tamper-evident components such that a user can readily determine whether the private access information was divulged. In some examples, a user is required to activate one or more tamper-evident features, thereby altering a visible state of the card, to utilize functionalities corresponding to the card.
Abstract: A package includes a container and a closure coupled to the container to control release of product therefrom. The closure includes a closure cap coupled to the container and a flip-top cap coupled to the closure cap and configured to pivot relative to the closure cap between a closed position and an opened position.

Abstract: An example portable radiography scanning system includes: a radiation detector configured to generate a digital image based on incident radiation; a radiation emitter configured to output the radiation; a frame configured to hold the radiation emitter and/or the detector such that the emitter directs the radiation to the detector; a first sensor configured to determine a first distance between the detector and emitter; and a computing device configured to: determine a second distance between the emitter and an interface between the radiation and the object; determine a magnification correction factor based on the first and second distances; measure a size, in pixels, of a feature of the object in the image; and: calculate an actual size of the feature based on the magnification correction factor and the measured size, and/or determine whether the measured size of the feature satisfies a threshold size based on the magnification correction factor.
Abstract: A trusted entity provides an API interface to online streaming platforms and sports betting platforms acting as an intermediary between the online streaming platforms and the sports betting platforms. The trusted entity generates unique authorization tokens that are used to authenticate users between the online streaming platforms and the sports betting platforms and provides a secure environment that separates the online streaming platforms and the sports betting platforms, allowing online streaming platforms to provide online betting services to their users without having to interface to multiple online betting services.
Abstract: An electronic component transfer apparatus is configured to transfer an electronic component on a flexible carrier to a target substrate. The electronic component transfer apparatus includes a first frame, a second frame, an abutting component, an actuating mechanism, an energy generating device, an image capture device, and a data processing module. The first frame is configured to carry the flexible carrier. The second frame is configured to carry the target substrate. The abutting component is disposed adjacent to the flexible carrier. The actuating mechanism is configured to actuate the abutting component, so that the abutting end of the abutting component abuts against the flexible carrier. The energy generating device generates an energy beam. The image capture device captures an image through the abutting component. The data processing module receives and computes the image to determine whether to adjust the relative position between the abutting end and the flexible carrier.

Abstract: The present teachings provide for a method of breeding livestock in vitro. Provided are steps to create embryonic stem cells from a plurality of blastocysts, genotype the embryonic stem cells to select the best embryos for mating to create offspring, and induce the embryonic stem cells into primordial germ cell-like cells (PGCLCs). Male PGCLCs are further induced into spermatogonial stem cell-like cells, and then spermatid-like cells. Female PGCLCs are induced into oocytes, which are then matured. The resulting gametes can then be mixed with each other or with opposite sex gametes from animals with desirable genetics to create the next generation of embryos, which can then be run through the process again. This method of in vitro breeding can be used to increase the speed of genetic progress in livestock.
