Abstract: An infustion pump fluid source cartridge having a pump interface portion and a fluid source portion. The top edge of the cartridge is bevelled in the fluid source portion to permit bending of the fluid source portion to securely position the pump interface portion against the pump without distorting the pump interface portion. A pump tube mount is provided for insertion into such cartridge. The pump tube mount includes a uniquely shaped front wall and a rear wall which extends downward in order to butt up against a ledge. Tabs extend from the rear wall in order to snap into an opening beneath the ledge. A compressible tube is mounted in the tube mount by providing a cylindrical fitting having an indentation. The tube may be held in the indentation by a collar surrounding the tube in alignment with the indentation.
Abstract: A connector assembly (1,45;2) comprising a plug-in connector (1,45) and a socket connector (2). The plug-in connector (1,45) is provided with a lever-type locking element (5;15;25;40) having two free ends. At one free end an outwardly projecting pawl-type latching element (8;18;28;41) is disposed, while the other free end is designed as a gripping end (5';15';25';40'). The socket connector (2) is provided with a slot-type opening or recess (9), so that when the plug-in connector (1,45) is pushed into and mates with the socket connector (2), the latching element (8;18;28;41) engages the slot-type opening or recess (9), from the inside (2') of the socket connector (2), thereby latching the connectors (1,45;2).

Abstract: A system for mounting and supporting harvesting units on a forward end of a cotton harvester frame to allow them to be slidably moved relative to each other and laterally along an elongated tool bar structure. The tool bar structure is pivotally connected to the cotton harvester frame by a lift assembly. The harvesting units hang in a cantilevered fashion from and are independently connected at their rearward edges to the tool bar structure by a slide support structure which facilitates visibility of the harvesting units from a cab region of the harvester. The slide support structure maintains a non-rotatable and non-point contact relationship with laterally elongated generally flat support surfaces defined between opposite ends of the tool bar structure whereby substantial surface area contact is provided between each side support structure and the support surfaces on the tool bar structure.
Abstract: A connector apparatus to be connected to an IC pack comprises housing means for receiving and holding the IC pack inserted thereto, connector means for connecting electrically to the inserted IC pack, ejecting means for ejecting the inserted IC pack from the connector means having at least two ejecting arms having a U-shaped cross section, two opposing sections of the ejecting arm sandwiching the housing means, and the other section perpendicular to the opposing sections being arranged to contact with the front end of the IC pack, and means for activating the ejecting means so as to eject the IC pack from the connector means by pulling out with the ejecting arms kept in contact with the front end of the IC pack.
Abstract: Process comprising heating a dioxole at 100.degree.-400.degree. C. for a sufficient time to convert the dioxole to an epoxide, for example, bis-2,2-trifluoromethyl-4,5-difluoro-1,3-dioxole to 2,3-epoxy-3-trifluoromethyl-4-trifluorobutyryl fluoride.
Abstract: Fouled spinneret assembly parts are cleaned by impacting the fouled part with high-pressure jets of water. The water-jet cleaning treatment is especially effective for cleaning fouled spinnerets used in dry-spinning of spandex filaments.
Abstract: A package for an opto-electronic component and associated pigtail is characterized by a notch formed in the sidewall of an open topped lower housing portion which interrupts the edge of the housing such that the component can be laid into the housing with the pigtail extending through the notch.

Abstract: The method described coats the interior of a tube-like support with the binding partner of the analyte. Analyte and anti-analyte-label conjugate are added. When the tube-like support is rotated end-over-end, the thin layer of analyte and conjugate readily react with the binding partners to form an immobilized label complex. When rotation stops, the reaction quenches to provide precise timing. The label complex is released and measured.
