Abstract: A method of nondestructive quality control of carbon articles includes the steps of determining the rate of propagation of excited acoustic vibrations in each carbon article (3) of a group of carbon articles and in a specimen cut out from at least one carbon article (3). Then there are selected the carbon articles (3) with the lowest and highest determined rates of propagation of the acoustic vibrations, and "n" specimens are cut out from them longitudinally of the specimens, and "m" specimens are cut out from them across their longitudinal axes.

The copolymer is crosslinkable by hydroxy-reactive crosslinking agent and, in particular, is suitable for use in thermosetting coating compositions adapted to form a flexible cured coating over a variety of substrates, such as metal and plastic. The copolymer has a number average molecular weight between about 1,300 and about 15,000, has a hydroxyl number between about 30 and about 300, and is the reaction product of carbon-carbon double bond-reactive monoethylenically unsaturated monomer with hydroxy functional carbon-carbon double bond-bearing branched polyester macromer.
Abstract: A process for regioselectively preparing phosphorylated cyclitols, in particular phosphorylated inositols such as myo-inositol 1,4,5-tris(phosphate) and myo-inositol 1,3,4,5-tetrakis(phosphate). Novel cyclitols produced by means of this process are also described.
Abstract: Hydroxy functional polysiloxane graft copolymers are provided. The copolymer is crosslinkable by hydroxy-reactive crosslinking agent and, in particular, is suitable for use in thermosetting coating compositions adapted to form a flexible cured coating over a variety of substrates, such as metal and plastic. The copolymer has a number average molecular weight between about 1300 and about 15,000, has a hydroxyl number between about 30 and about 300, and is the reaction product of carbon-carbon double bond-reactive monoethylenically unsaturated monomer with hydroxy functional carbon-carbon double bond-bearing branched polysiloxane macromer.
Abstract: Cover for a multipoint connector which comprises a block-shaped multipoint connector body. In said body contacts are provided in spaces. Said contacts are accessible from outside via apertures opening out in a lateral surface of the body. The cover comprises an upper part and four lateral parts extending virtually perpendicularly to it. Those surfaces of the lateral parts of the cover which face the apertures of the multipoint connector body are provided with knobs which lie opposite the apertures when the cover has been placed on and rest with their outer surface against the edge of the respective apertures.
Abstract: An azeotrope or azeotrope-like composition of 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (FC-113) and 1,2-dichloro-1,1-difluoroethane (FC-132b), the azeotrope being useful in solvent cleaning applications.

Abstract: A bronze alloy composition for glass making molds that has excellent corrosion resistance and resistance to pitting, the composition comprising copper, aluminum, nickel, iron, manganese, and a critical amount of silicon to provide the resistance to pitting.
Abstract: A ply-twisted crimped continuous filament yarn having at least 40 twist reversals per meter and particularly suited for freize style carpets and the process for making the yarn is disclosed.
Abstract: A vibratory plow including a cutter assembly which slices the ground covering and breaks the sod ahead of the cable-laying plow blade. The plow assembly includes a blade holder that is pivotally mounted to a vibrator frame. A mounting member attaches the cutting blade of the cutter assembly to the blade holder. The cutting blade is polygonal in shape and includes a plurality of mounting holes located in polygonal patterns. The mounting member includes a complementary set of mounting holes also arranged in a polygonal pattern. The present construction permits the cutting blade to be moved to a plurality of cutting positions rather than replacing the cutter after a cutting edge is worn.
Abstract: This invention relates to 2-[[(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)aminocarbonyl]aminosulfonyl]-4-(difluorom ethoxy)benzoic acid, ethyl ester, agriculturally suitable compositions thereof and methods of its use.
Abstract: A pin holder for a separable electronic plug connection wherein a number of resilient lips are formed on the holder. The lips are provided at their free ends with an inwardly protruding hook-shaped part. The pin holder has a pin carrier located therein. The pin carrier has outwardly, directed protruding parts formed thereon which, in the assembled state, engage behind the hook shaped parts which have been provided with obliquely running contact surfaces. At least one shoulder inside the holder preferably forms stop means. The pin holder is further provided with openings in an intermediate wall through which pins can extend.
Abstract: Shell-less hollow fiber gas permeators are disclosed wherein the hollow fibers are arranged in a bundle of paallel fibers embedded in a tube sheet at both ends. The tube sheets are fitted with caps to provide a pressure chamber which have ports for fluid communication. The end caps and tube sheets are mounted on a central rod to hold them rigidly in position. A plurality of the permeators are arranged in an array within an enclosure with ends in a common plane and the ends are in fluid communication with each other. The enclosure is provided with a vent and in a preferred aspect air is drawn over the permeators.
Abstract: A mechanical flotation machine comprises a flotation cell, a circulating pipe vertically installed therein, an axial impeller mounted in the lower portion of the pipe and a guide device secured to the lower end of the pipe. The guide device has an annular gap through which pulp flow generated by the impeller returns from the cell to the pipe. Vanes are installed in the annular gap to create, above the impeller, pulp flow rotating opposite to the rotation of the impeller.
