Abstract: Methods and arrangements for facilitating the further development of a distribution tree among at least three nodes in a distributed network. A network performance measurement associated with the propagation of a message between the publisher node and the joining subscriber node is ascertained, as well as each network performance measurement associated with the propagation of messages between the publisher node and each existing subscriber node. The network performance measurement between the publisher node and the joining subscriber node is compared with each network performance measurement between the publisher node and each existing subscriber node, and a joining subscriber node is established as a child of another node based on the comparison of network performance measurements.
Abstract: Methods and arrangements for repositioning at least one node in a distributed network. Upon detection of a failed node in the network, subscription information relating to each direct child node of the failed node is retained at each direct child node.

Abstract: Methods and arrangements for monitoring at least one interconnection between at least two nodes in a distributed network. At least one subscriber node is prompted to ascertain the integrity of an interconnection with at least one parent node.
Abstract: Methods and arrangements for propagating a data stream among a plurality of nodes in a distributed network at different rates. A first group of at least one subscriber node receives a data stream from a publisher node at a first rate, at least one additional group of at least one subscriber node receives a data stream from the publisher node at a second rate. For each of a plurality of frames in the data stream, it is ascertained as to which of the groups of at least one subscriber node are to receive each frame in the data stream. A single multicast transmission of each frame in the data stream is then propagated.

Abstract: Methods and arrangements for facilitating the further development of a distribution tree among at least three nodes in a distributed network. A path is ascertained between a publisher node and a joining subscriber node, and each path between the publisher node and each existing subscriber node is also ascertained. These paths are compared and, on the basis of the comparison, the subscriber node is established as a child of another node.
Abstract: A low-voltage, low-power DC voltage generator system is provided having two negative voltage pump circuits for generating voltages for operating negative wordline and substrate bias charge pump circuits, a reference generator for generating a reference voltage, and a two-stage cascaded positive pump system having a first stage pump circuit and a second stage pump circuit. The first stage converts a supply voltage to a higher voltage level, e.g., one volt to 1.5 volts, to be used for I/O drivers, and the second stage converts the output voltage from the first stage to a higher voltage level, e.g., from 1.5 volts to about 2.5 volts, for operating a boost wordline charge pump circuit. The DC voltage generator system further includes a micro pump circuit for providing a voltage level which is greater than one-volt to be used as reference voltages, even when an operating voltage of the DC voltage generator system is at or near one-volt.

Abstract: A method of booting one of a plurality of target devices in a network management framework is provided. The network management framework is scanned to identify the target device. A communication value describing communication between the target device and at least one distributor is determined. The communication value is compared to a predetermined value. The distributor is assigned to the target device if the communication value is less than the predetermined value. At least one boot file is distributed to the target device using the distributor. Programs and systems of using the present invention are also provided.
Abstract: A program and method is disclosed for an electronic wallet based upon a centralized personal data base (CPDB). In the CPDB system merchants obtained customer information by using a primary number and a secondary number given to them by the customer. The CPDB electronic wallet provides a primary number and a wallet number to the merchant to conduct the financial transaction between the user and the merchant. The merchant submits the primary number and the wallet number to the centralized personal data base, the transaction is processed by the CPDB, and the merchant obtains credit for the financial transaction. Since the CPDB customer can have several bank accounts and credit cards, multiple wallet numbers can be created. Each wallet number can also have a monetary limit set and can be associated with one or financial accounts. An expiration date can be established for each wallet number.
Abstract: In a current mode logic (CML) circuit, a high impedance state is implemented at the output for a bi-directional buffer. The output common mode voltage can be adjusted at the same time, which is particularly useful for a CML off-chip driver.
Abstract: The present invention provides a process integration technique which significantly reduces the array size of dual-port DRAM architecture systems. The array is reduced to a size which is significantly smaller than the array size of prior art DRAM architecture systems by using bitlines formed at half-pitch. The present invention also provides dual-port, open-bitline and folded-bitline DRAM arrays where each DRAM cell in the array has at least two vertically-oriented devices therein.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention separates raw server configuration data (data describing how the server is to operate—e.g., network port number, security settings, software drivers, etc.) from server instance data (data which describes where to run a server and how to process user code—e.g., which directories to access, where the user code is located, etc.). Embodiments of the present invention may have raw server configuration data and server instance data stored as, for example, text files. A file embodying raw server configuration data may be copied and reused on multiple computer systems. Similarly, a file embodying server instance data may also be copied and reused on multiple computer systems. Embodiments of the present invention process the raw server configuration data file and the server instance file to generate an overall server configuration file which configures a server to operate in the desired manner so that user code can be successfully deployed on the configured server.

Abstract: A new D-type latch structure is disclosed which has an input data sampling circuit and a symmetrical cross coupled latching circuit. The clock is delayed a predetermined time through an inverter circuit. The clock and the delayed inverted clock are used to generate a clock window time during which time the data input state and the inverted data input state are asserted on the latch output and complementary. The latch outputs are cross-coupled to pull-up and pull-down circuitry in each output circuit stage. A common pull-down transistor may be used to further reduce devices and to improve path delays from clocks to the latch outputs. The clock window assertion of states of the data inputs to the changing latch output is enhanced by the cross-coupled feedback of the latch outputs to improve the differential transition timings of the latch outputs. The D-type latch has fewer transistors and better delay, and more precise transition skew over prior art designs.
