Abstract: A method and system for adaptive aggregation of data in a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is disclosed. The method receiving one or more packets produced from a plurality of sensor nodes at an aggregator sensor node. The method further includes categorizing and storing the received packets in the buffer queue of the aggregator node. Then initiating an aggregation process by selecting an aggregation mechanism. The aggregation mechanism is selected based on the feedback value and a special instruction. The aggregated packets are forwarded to the base station based on an aggregation function.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for end-to-end process execution. The method includes generating a model for a business process to be executed, wherein the business process comprises a first type of activity and a second type of activity. On initiation of a business process instance of the business process, the first type of activity is executed by a business process engine. Further, the second type of activity is dynamically assigned to a first user for execution on an application external to the business process engine based on a set of predefined factors, provided the second type of activity is a manual activity. The method further includes monitoring execution of the second type of activity by the business process engine and displaying status of each activity in the business process instance to a second user.

Abstract: The present invention includes a method and a system for recommending at least one advertisement to a user. The recommendation is provided based on the interaction with at least two devices. The user is identified when an interactive session is initiated by the user on a device of the at least two devices. Thereafter, a contextual profile of the identified user is selected from a database. The contextual profile is associated with one or more contextual sub-profiles. Further, each contextual sub-profile is associated with a corresponding device. Furthermore, one or more contextual attributes are dynamically captured from the interactive session. Thereafter, at least one of the contextual profile and the captured contextual attributes is mapped with a plurality of pre-stored advertisements. Subsequently, at least one advertisement is suggested on the device based on the mapping.

Abstract: The present invention provides a process modeling platform installed on a mobile device such as a cell phone, a laptop or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). The platform includes a User Interface module that enables the user to interact with the platform. The platform further includes a template module and a model engine. The template module enables the user to use a pre-loaded template for modeling. The model engine enables the user to use a pre-loaded algorithm for modeling. The platform also includes a storage module. The primary function of the storage module includes storage of various templates, algorithms and models. An administrative module, which is also a part of the platform, performs generic infrastructure services that are required by the core logic of the platform.

Abstract: A system and method for estimation and analysis of operational parameters in workflow processes in order to establish effect of parameters on one or more critical parameters is provided. The method includes creating a Bayesian network including one or more operational nodes representing one or more operational parameters and one or more critical nodes representing one or more critical parameters. The method further includes generating an evidence set based on market events and deducing inferences based on the generated evidence set and Bayesian engine. Inferences are deduced by determining possible discrete states of operational parameters associated with one or more target nodes and their probability distribution values. Deduced inferences are then validated to confirm strength of probability distribution values.

Abstract: A system and method for matching one or more source schemas with one or more target schemas is provided. The matching between source and target schemas is performed by gathering inputs pertaining to the source and target schemas, wherein the inputs comprises a set of details in a predefined format. Thereafter, the gathered inputs are processed by comparing the source schemas with the target schemas. The processing is performed to identify a set of matches between the source and target schemas based on the linguistic similarity, structural similarity and functional similarity and relationship between the source and target schemas. Subsequently, the identified matches are stored.

Abstract: A method for rapid processing and transport of large XML files is provided. The method enables splitting an XML file into a plurality of records by a client module. The method further enables parsing each record to obtain a wrapper object. Next, the wrapper object is transported by the client module to a server module. Then, mapping information is populated at the client module based on path information of the wrapper object at the server module. Further, the mapping information is provided from the client module to the server module and records are accessed at the server module using the mapping information.

Abstract: A method for disseminating Early Warning Messages (EWMs) to subscriber terminals by an Early Warning Unit (EWU) in a mobile communication network is provided. The method comprises identifying at least one base station in a first region and sending a trigger signal to the identified base station for initiating the dissemination of the EWMs. The method further comprises sending an invitation request to one or more peer base stations in a second region and receiving subscriber details from one or more base stations. The method furthermore comprises selectively disseminating the EWMs to the one or more subscriber terminals based on location details of the subscriber terminals using a grid computing architecture. The grid computing architecture facilitates parallel dissemination of the EWMs to the one or more subscriber terminals by splitting the subscriber details into one or more data fragments.

Abstract: A method for dynamic management of one or more cloud database nodes is provided. The method enables gathering information related to usage of one or more cloud database nodes. The method further enables comparing time required by the one or more cloud database nodes for responding to one or more requests with a predetermined threshold. Furthermore, the method enables provisioning one or more new cloud database nodes or removing one or more new cloud database nodes based on at least one of: the gathered information, the comparison and a combination thereof.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for managing various Regulations, Policies and Risks (RPR). These RPR are managed for supporting Governance, Risk and Compliance requirements of an organization. The method includes defining a tree structure for a context. The tree structure is defined for one or more RPR and one or more roles of a plurality of users of the organization. The RPR are intervened across various trees. A plurality of nodes is defined for the tree. Each node includes a plurality of attributes and one or more attribute functions.

Abstract: A method for processing a distributed query in a network of computational resources is provided. The method includes receiving a user-defined freshness criterion and a distributed query from a user. The user-defined data freshness criterion is based on the version of the distributed query results desired by the user. An integrated cost model is formulated to optimize the execution of the distributed query. The integrated cost model is based on one or more integrated cost model factors. Thereafter, an objective function is constructed, based on the processing cost for each of the one or more copies of the one or more relations, and a data transmission cost for the transfer of the one or more copies of the one or more relations from a first to a second computational resource. Subsequently, an optimal solution of the objective function is calculated by using one or more heuristic approaches.

Abstract: The invention describes a method, a tour planner, and a computer program product for planning a tour for a group including one or more travelers. In various embodiments of the invention, the tour planner enables a traveler to select a travel route and simultaneously share the selected travel route with at least one other traveler. Thereafter, based on the feedback of the other traveler, the selected travel route is either changed or finalized by the group. Further, the method facilitates the group of travelers on the day of the travel by providing each one of them with one or more alerts relating the finalized travel route.

Abstract: A system and method for providing real-time alert message to one or more subscribers in a service provider network is provided. The service provider network may be an enterprise, a communication service provider or a hosted service. A throttler application receives request for alert message generated by an alert originator application and relays the request to a gateway of an alert notification module. A token associated with the request is validated. Based on token parameter values which includes subscriber identities, delivery channel specifications, alert originator application priorities and end point identities, the alert message is customized and is presented to one or more appropriate delivery channel servers. The alert message is then delivered to the one or more subscribers.

Abstract: A method for facilitating and improving process adoption in an organization is provided. The organization has a plurality of processes to carry out organizational tasks. The method includes receiving a set of priorities about the organization from at least one stakeholder in the organization. Further, the method includes the step of receiving a set of attributes about the organization from the at least one stakeholder in the organization. Furthermore the method includes the step of processing, on a computer, the set of priorities and the set of attributes to generate an optimal plan of training end users in the organization. Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are disclosed for creating an OWL ontology from a Java source code, wherein the Java source code includes a plurality of Java classes. Each of these Java classes includes one or more Java members and one or more Java objects. The Java objects are used to instantiate each of the Java classes. An OWL class is created for each of the Java classes, and an OWL concept is created for each of the Java members. Further, an OWL instance is created for each of the Java objects. Each of the OWL classes, the OWL concepts, and the OWL instances are assigned data type properties and object properties. Subsequently, each of the OWL classes and relations between them, each of the OWL concepts, and each of the OWL instances are included to form the OWL ontology.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and computer program product for securing data corresponding to one or more data fields of a form by providing data integrity, confidentiality and non-repudiation. The present invention includes providing one or more controls for enabling selection of at least one security type for each of the data fields corresponding to the form. Further, at least one security routine is implemented for the data fields to produce corresponding secured data. The at least one security routine corresponds to the selected at least one security type. Further, a system for securing the data is also disclosed.

Abstract: A system and method for presenting on-demand masking of data as a software service in a distributed environment is provided. An application hosted on a computing device receives request for access to application data from a user. Credentials of the user are first validated in order to determine whether the user is authorized to access the requested application data. For an authorized user, a category of the user is determined to ascertain whether the user is privileged to obtain full access. In case the user is a privileged user, unmasked application data is fetched from a database utility and provided to the user. In case the user is not a privileged user, application data access request is transferred to a data masking service. Application data is fetched from database utility, masked based on pre-defined masking rules and provided to the user.

Abstract: The invention provides a method, a system, and a computer program product for managing and distributing knowledge tips in an organization. A member of the organization submits a knowledge tip and one or more data points corresponding to the knowledge tip in a Tips Management System (TiMS). The member associates the knowledge tip with at least one predefined category. A member selects knowledge tips by defining a criterion in TiMS. The member selects category(ies) and/or projects(s) and provides delivery parameters for planning the delivery of knowledge tips to the at least one member. The TiMS delivers the selected knowledge tips to the each member as per the delivery parameters.

Abstract: A communication system and method are disclosed for establishing a secure communication channel including: a server for generating and storing a first instance of a unique personalized client application associated with a first-time user on the server, a client terminal for the user to communicate with the server over a communication channel and a standalone computing device having a second instance of the unique personalized application. The user authenticates the server based on a first dynamic identifier (DI-1) generated by the first instance of the unique personalized client application and the server authenticates the user based on a second dynamic identifier (DI-2) generated by the second instance of the unique personalized client application.
