Abstract: The invention describes a computer-implemented method and system for assessing the progress of a project in terms of its schedule. The method includes receiving project data and based on the project data, calculating a first period (PE) after which a current earned value (EV) was expected to be realized. The method also includes calculating a second period (PR) in which the current EV has been realized. Further, the method includes calculating a fraction component (EF) of a period when the current EV was expected to be realized and finally, calculating an earned schedule performance index (ESPI) based on PE, PR and EF, wherein the ESPI indicates whether the project is on schedule.

Abstract: A method for validating authenticity of identity claims of one or more communicating entities in an online transaction over a network is disclosed. The method includes extracting identity information of the first communicating entity by the second communicating entity during online transaction and prompting a client to provide a unique resource name of the first entity. Further, the method includes validating the identity information extracted from the first entity by checking identity information already registered in a registry. Later the method includes authenticating the identity claims of the first entity based on the validation results. The method also includes steps for registering identity information of the first entity within the registry.

Abstract: A method and system to mobile based money transaction across different transaction entity. A non-repudiable message, using a first mobile device, is sent to a first transaction entity expressing to provide a token wherein the mobile device is registered with the first transaction entity. The first transaction entity provides a generated token to the first mobile device using non-repudiable messaging services. The first mobile, in turn, transfers the non-repudiable message to a second mobile device of a second user including a token and a transaction entity code. The second mobile device sends the non-repudiable message to a second transaction entity, indicating a token number, a transaction entity code, and sum of money being transferred. The second transaction entity advances the token number, via a non-repudiable message, to a transaction entity indicated by the transaction code to authenticate the token.

Abstract: The invention provides a method and clinical data mining system for enabling a user to derive knowledge from data corresponding to a plurality of electronic health records stored in a repository. One or more data elements are provided as an input. The data elements may include textual reports, images, and one or more criteria specified by the user. Information is extracted from one or more images associated with one or more electronic health records stored in the repository, based on the data elements. Further, information is extracted from one or more textual reports and structured data associated with the one or more electronic health records. Thereafter, one or more reports are generated based on the extracted information to enable the user to analyze the information. Subsequently, the user may derive knowledge from the data based on the analysis.

Abstract: A system and method for predictive categorization of risk of at least one project related activity is provided. The system and method provide categorization of the project related activity into one of a plurality of predetermined risk categories. Further, the risk category of the project related activity is predicted in at least one stage of the project life cycle. The method comprises collecting inputs pertaining to the project related activity being categorized and a predetermined set of details for categorizing the project related activity. The method further comprises categorizing the project related activity by applying discriminant analysis. The application of discriminant analysis comprises constructing a set of functions based on the predetermined set of details. Thereafter, the constructed set of functions are applied on the details collected pertaining to the project related activity, wherein the functions are applied for predicting the risk category of the project related activity.

Abstract: A method and system for searching one or more documents in a Local Area Network (LAN) is provided. The system includes a synchronization module, a link module, and a search engine. The synchronization module automatically synchronizes multiple knowledge sources, such as one or more pre-defined databases, one or more software version control system (SVCS) databases, and so forth, with a server at various pre-defined intervals of time. The link module connects at least one user with the server in response to a request received from the user. Once the user is connected with the server, the link module receives a search query from the user and forwards it to the search engine. The search engine then identifies one or more results in the synchronized documents and provides search results to the link module. The link module then displays the results to the user.

The method comprises a step of first receiving an application request from the one or more requesting devices. The method includes extracting details of the request. Abstract: A method to bypass the existing pay and use model to deliver services over existing wireless LAN infrastructure between mobile terminal and server is disclosed. Many of the existing WLAN infrastructures require users to subscribe to service provider to access their network. The inventive method uses internet protocol (IP) packet for delivering services/data between server and mobile terminal. Internet protocol (IP) layer processes the IP packets received from a mobile terminal and uses protocol subfield in the IP header of the received IP packet in identifying the services/data at the server end. The server sends the IP packet containing requested services/data to the mobile terminal. Since all the communication takes place at IP layer (not TCP or UDP) it doesn't require user id and password to go through.

Abstract: Methods for creating a factory, such as a software factory, a user experience factory, and a persistence factory, for developing one or more Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) applications. One or more artifacts related to the J2EE applications, such as code components, workflow scripts, and build scripts, are identified. Further, one or more templates are created for generating the one or more artifacts. The templates may be created based on a predefined architecture and coding conventions. These templates are stored in a repository to enable their subsequent reuse. Thereafter, one or more relationships between the artifacts are defined in a factory schema. Abstract: The present invention provides a system, wireless communication device, method and computer program product for combining one or more compatible services with a current service. A user of a wireless communication device is subscribed with a registered service provider. A user sends a request for identifying the one or more compatible services with the current service to the registered service provider. The registered service provider identifies and sends a list of the identified compatible services to the wireless communication device. The user then selects at least one compatible service from the list of the identified compatible services. Thereafter, the registered service provider sends the software required for combining the selected compatible services with the current service. The user creates a combined service by combining the selected compatible services with the current service using the software on the wireless communication device.
