    Abstract: A Boltzmann-based method for simulating a CVI densification process of a composite material is provided. Phase space occupancy is provided in the method, such that a geometrical model can be presented by using the concept of a matrix, and components of a space are distinguished; and a phase space occupancy matrix can directly participate in operation, which is equivalent to a natural division of grids and boundaries, and the boundaries are presented by a phase parameter, which is a natural capturing process. Flow field calculation of the method uses virtual time step calculation, such that a boundary condition can be written in a unified form, thereby improving the programmability.

A method for decoding a 360-degree image includes the steps of: receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding a 360-degree image; generating a prediction image by making reference to syntax information obtained from the received bitstream; adding the generated prediction image to a residual image obtained by dequantizing and inverse-transforming the bitstream, so as to obtain a decoded image; and reconstructing the decoded image into a 360-degree image according to a projection format.     Abstract: A method for synthesizing nanoparticles by sonofragmentation includes dispersing ultra-thin substrate units in a solvent chosen for suitability for sonofragmentation of the substrate, forming a suspension; ultrasonicating the suspension for a length of time sufficient to fragment the substrate into nanoparticles that are dispersed in the solvent; and evaporating the solvent. Solvent exchange with a second solvent may be performed. The synthesized nanoparticles are highly crystalline and monodispersed. The surface of the synthesized nanoparticles may be functionalized by choosing the solvents according to chemistry related to the intended surface functionalization of the synthesized nanoparticles, by adding surfactants to one or more of the solvents, and/or by performing ligand exchange or chemical modification to replace surface-bonded solvent or surfactant molecules with other functional groups to produce nanoparticles having the desired surface functionalization.

A waste gas passageway directs waste gas over a plurality of membrane tubes extending across the waste gas passageway. Each of the membrane tubes includes an internal passage separated from the waste gas passageway by a porous membrane. A water supply inlet manifold is connected to each of the plurality of membrane tubes, and configured to introduce water into the internal passages of the membrane tubes. A vacuum source is connected to the water side of the apparatus, and configured to adjust a pressure within the internal passages of the membrane tubes.     Abstract: A method for preparing a biomass-based conductive hydrogel by 3D printing is provided. Firstly, a cellulose-based macromonomer, a rosin-based monomer, an acrylic acid monomer and an initiator are mixed in a certain proportion, stirred, and dissolved at 25-70° C. Then, diisocyanate in an amount of 5-10 wt % of a total mass of the monomers is added to the mixed solution and mixed uniformly to prepare a 3D printing photosensitive resin solution. An SLA light-curing 3D printer is used to print a hydrogel precursor 1 with a complex shape. Next, the hydrogel precursor 1 is heated to obtain a hydrogel precursor 2 with a dual-curing network. Finally, the obtained hydrogel precursor 2 is swelled in a 1-15 wt % alkaline solution at 5-60° C. for 0.1-10 hours to obtain the biomass-based conductive hydrogel.
