  • Patent number: 11287253
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for measuring a thickness of an ultrathin film on a solid substrate. The thickness of the target ultrathin film is measured from the intensity of the fluorescence converted by the substrate and leaking and tunneling through the target ultrathin film at low detection angle. The fluorescence generated from the substrate has sufficient and stable high intensity, and therefore can provide fluorescence signal strong enough to make the measurement performed rapidly and precisely. The detection angle is small, and therefore the noise ratio is low, and efficiency of thickness measurement according to the method disclosed herein is high. The thickness measurement method can be applied into In-line product measurement without using standard sample, and therefore the thickness of the product can be measured rapidly and efficiently.

  • Patent number: 11289711
Abstract: Disclosed are a catalyst electrode for a fuel cell, a method for fabricating the catalyst electrode, and a fuel cell including the catalyst electrode. The presence of an ionomer-ionomer support composite in the catalyst electrode prevents the porous structure of the catalyst electrode from collapsing due to oxidation of a carbon support to avoid an increase in resistance to gas diffusion and can stably secure proton channels. The presence of carbon materials with high conductivity is effective in preventing the electrical conductivity of the electrode from deterioration resulting from the use of a metal oxide in the ionomer-ionomer support composite and is also effective in suppressing collapse of the porous structure of the electrode to prevent an increase in resistance to gas diffusion in the electrode. Based on these effects, the fuel cell exhibits excellent performance characteristics and prevents its performance from deteriorating during continuous operation.

  • Patent number: 11289709
Abstract: Disclosed is a catalyst having a perovskite structure in the form of ABO3, in which the number of ion moles at the A site has an excess ratio compared to the number of ion moles at the B site. The present invention exhibits an oxygen catalytic activity improved by about 3 times in an oxygen evolution reaction and by about 40% in an oxygen reduction reaction, compared to those of an existing LaNiO3 perovskite catalyst. Further, since the metallic conductivity is not significantly changed compared to the existing LaNiO3 perovskite oxide, there is an advantage in that a carbon support need not be used when the present invention is used as a catalyst in a battery positive electrode.
