Abstract: EGCG-Zn2+ molecular complexes exhibit a significantly higher affinity than the EGCG molecule alone or Zn2+ molecule alone for binding to different SARS-CoV-2 molecular targets and show virtually complete antiviral suppressive activity (>99%) against this virus in experimental models of infection. EGCG-Zn2+ complexes have a lower toxicity than EGCG alone in transfected human cells. The combination of EGCG and Zn2+, significantly improved some key pharmacokinetic parameters of EGCG in humans. Thus, these complexes are usable as a new broad-spectrum method for chemoprophylaxis or treatment of viral diseases by using formulations containing a composition of EGCG and Zn2+ or EGCG-Zn2+ complexes in sufficient amount to reach a blood concentration with antiviral effect, minimizing human safety issues.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a humic acid-containing synergistic carrier for accelerating urea conversion. The preparation method includes steps of, for example, preparing an extractant for humic acid, preparing a humic acid extract and preparing a humic acid-containing synergistic carrier. Combination of the humic acid-containing synergistic carrier with urea can accelerate urea conversion, and the residual urea rate will be reduced by 22.7%-29.1% than a commercially available urea. The present invention provides a new idea for improving the utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer in soil with low urease activity. Compared with a commercially available urea, the urea containing the humic acid-containing synergistic carrier of the present invention can increase the rice yield and the utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer by 9.7% and 8.3%, respectively.

The method includes: step S1: reading gradient-recalled echo sequence by means of bipolarity, so as to acquire a multi-echo image; step S2: estimating a first-order term coefficient of an extra phase term introduced by an eddy-current in the acquired multi-echo image; step S3: removing the estimated first-order term coefficient, and estimating a zero-order term coefficient of the extra phase term introduced by the eddy-current in the collected multi-echo image; step S4: removing, according to the estimated first-order term coefficient and the zero-order term coefficient, an error of the extra phase term introduced by the eddy-current. The eddy-current correction method removes the phase error caused by the eddy-current in the acquired image, thereby ensuring the correctness of the subsequent water-fat separation algorithm result.

  • Publication number: 20210394080
Abstract: The current disclosure provides a method to improve the performance of evaporators and condensers by maintaining the vapor velocities on the heat exchange surfaces within a desired range. This is accomplished by providing a constant or tapered narrow gap for vapor flow in the heat exchangers. The shear induced by the vapor over the heat exchanger improves the evaporator performance by disturbing the liquid film flowing over the heat transfer surface. In the condenser, the vapor shear helps to remove the condensate in the form of film and droplets, and also removes the non-condensable gases from the heat transfer surfaces as the vapor condenses out and increases the concentration of the non-condensable gases over the heat transfer surfaces. Parameters identified include minimum gap and the taper angle between the cover plate and heat transfer surface.
