Abstract: A method for a task-agnostic policy filter control system is described. The method includes encoding a current observation, a previous latent state, and a previous action to output a new latent state. The method also includes computing, by a neural ordinary differential equations (ODE) module, learned latent state-space dynamic models for the new latent state. The method further includes inferring, by an in-distribution barrier function (iDBF) model, an iDBF value in response to the new latent state. The method also includes computing, based on the learned latent state-space dynamic models, the iDBF value and a reference control input for a current timestep, and a current action. The current action keeps the task-agnostic policy filter control system in-distribution with respect to an offline-collected dataset of safe demonstrations.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enhanced end-to-end three-dimensional (3-D) object detection are disclosed that improve detecting objects in the 3D space from images, such as monocular camera image that may be captured during the operation the autonomous vehicles. For example, a vehicle can include a processor device detecting one or more objects in a 3D space by predicting 3D bounding boxes and predicting dense depth associated with target assignments. The target assignments correspond to the location of objects within an image of the 3D space of a surrounding environment for the vehicle. The vehicle can also include a controller device that receives the detection of the objects in the 3D space from the processor device and performs autonomous operations. The end-to-end 3D object detection techniques achieve a high level of object detection accuracy, with significant improvements compared to previous methods, due to the simplicity and optimization of its end-to-end functionality.

Abstract: The invention disclosed a method for conducting site-directed modification to a plant genome using non-inheritable materials. The method provided in the present invention specifically comprises the following steps: introducing a non-inheritable material into a cell or a tissue or a part of the plant of interest; wherein said non-inheritable material is a nuclease specific to said target fragment or an mRNA expressing said nuclease, thereby the target fragment is cleaved by said nuclease and site-directed modification to the target fragment is achieved through DNA repairing in the plant. By introducing a non-inheritable material of sequence-specific nuclease, site-directed mutation in a plant gene can be achieved, and no exogenous gene or nucleic acid fragments will be integrated into the plant as obtained. Therefore, the present invention can lead to more precise genome function study and higher biosafety in breeding.
