    Abstract: A fiber is provided, which includes a polyester copolymerized of a diacid monomer, an esterified diacid monomer or a combination thereof with a polyol monomer. The diacid monomer, the esterified diacid monomer or a combination thereof includes (1) furan dicarboxylic acid, dialkyl furandicarboxylate, or a combination thereof or (2) furan dicarboxylic acid, dialkyl furandicarboxylate, or a combination thereof and spiro-diacid.     Abstract: A method for producing a polymer film of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) having a high concentration of silver nanoparticles (NPs) includes forming the NPs by drying the forming composition by the process of slow reduction of Ag ions by soft organic reductants. Changing a filling degree of Ag NPs in the film is achieved by displacement of Ag NPs and their seeds generated in the liquid PVA film under the action of a DC current at 2-6 mA. An example metal-polymer film with Ag NPs may be used in stealth technologies, for creating thermophotoelectric (TPE) elements, photo detectors, radiation cooling and heating of optoelectronic devices, in spectroscopy of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), and for manufacturing LC devices.

    Abstract: A two-speed transmission for an electric vehicle including an electric motor, a first transmission mechanism and a second transmission mechanism is provided. The electric motor includes a rotor and a spindle. The rotor drives a first sun gear and a first planet gear of the first transmission mechanism to rotate with respect to the first ring gear to generate a first gear ratio. The rotor drives a second sun gear and a second planet gear of the second transmission mechanism to rotate with respect to the second ring gear to generate a second gear ratio different from the first gear ratio. Therefore, the present disclosure provides a secret key generation technique that is capable of increasing key entropy and reducing KDP.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for reducing the PAPR in FRFT-OFDM systems, which belongs to the field of broadband wireless digital communications technology. The method is based on fractional random phase sequence and fractional circular convolution theorem, which can effectively reduce the PAPR of the system. The method of the invention has the advantages of simple system implementation and low computational complexity. In this method, the PAPR of the system can be effectively reduced while maintaining the reliability of the system. When the number of candidate signals is the same, the PAPR performance of the present method was found to be almost the same as that of SLM and better than that of PTS. More importantly, the present method has lower computational complexity than that of SLM and PTS methods.

    Abstract: Provided is a composition for use in fabricating a carbon molecular sieve membrane, including a fluorine-containing polymer matrix and polysilsesquioxane. The composition shows high selectivity to the gas to be separated and high separation quality by controlling the mixing ratio of the fluorine-containing polymer matrix with polysilsesquioxane as well as the type of fluorine-containing polymer matrix and polysilsesquioxane. Ancillary selective pore formation is enhanced by a so-called “autogenous fluorinated gas induced siloxane etching” (A-FISE) mechanism of fluorine-containing polymer/polysilsesquioxane blend precursors during carbonization. Therefore, it is possible to effectively separate gases having a small difference in particle size, which, otherwise, are difficult to be separated with the conventional polymer membranes.
