Abstract: An apparatus for recycling propylene includes a first propylene recovery column, a flash tank, a second propylene recovery column, and a depropanizing column. The apparatus can effectively solve the problem of high power consumption in the prior art, and can be used for the industrial manufacturing of propylene recovery from a propylene oxide apparatus. A process for recycling and refining propylene also is described.

Abstract: A tiled head-mounted display device comprises an optical component including a plurality of prisms with free-form surfaces, and a display component including a plurality of micro-displays (6), wherein the number of the micro-displays (6) and the number of the prisms with free-form surfaces is identical, and each prism with free-form surfaces and the corresponding micro-display (6) constitute a display channel. Each prism is a wedge prism including a first surface (2), a second surface (3) and a third surface (4). The exit pupil planes of each display channel are coincident, thus avoiding pupil aberration and keeping exit pupil diameter and eye clearance same as a single ocular. There is no resolution variance throughout the entire field of view, thus preventing extra trapezoid distortion. The tiled head-mounted display device is compact and lightweight, and provides wide field of view and high resolution.

Abstract: In a digital broadcasting signal transmission system, a transmission frame includes a frame body and a frame header, and the frame body is divided into a plurality of sub-bands in the frequency domain and is divided into a plurality of symbols in the time domain. Abstract: A regenerating-type compressed air drier for regenerating compressed air by an electrical heating mechanism and a dehumidifying-and-regenerating unit are provided. The drier has a simple structure, and can reduce an undue loss of heat energy by an electrical heating mechanism to the regeneration of the dehumidifying-and-regenerating components.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods for the synthesis of catalysts and precursors thereof. Methods of the invention may comprise combining a catalyst precursor and at least one ligand to generate a catalytically active species, often under mild conditions and in high yields. In some cases, a wide variety of catalysts may be synthesized from a single catalyst precursor. Methods of the invention may also include the preparation of catalysts which, under reaction conditions known in the art, may have been difficult or impossible to prepare and/or isolate due to, for example, steric crowding at the metal center. The present invention also provides catalyst compositions, and precursors thereof, which may be useful in various chemical reactions including olefin metathesis. In some cases, methods of the invention may reduce the number of synthetic and purification steps required to produce catalysts and/or other reaction products, as well as reducing time, cost, and waste production.

Abstract: Metallocorrole complexes of third row transition metals (see Formula I below) may be used as therapeutic agents, catalysts, components of oxygen detectors, and components of light emitting diodes. In particular, metallocorrole complexes of third row transition metals may be used as improved photosenitizers in photodynamic therapy; as improved catalysts in aziridination, epoxidation, and water splitting reactions; as improved in vivo imaging agents; and as improved components in the emissive layer of OLEDs. Due to their strongly sigma-donating nature, corroles are able to stabilize third row transition metals in high oxidation states. Third row transition metals are significantly more electropositive than their first and second row counterparts and may therefore act as improved catalysts.

Abstract: Technologies are generally described for alleviating solar power congestion in a distribution grid via smart metering communications. According to some examples, a power network system supervised by utility operators may monitor and control grid-tied power generation modules associated with consumers to ensure the distribution grid is stable in terms of network capacity limit. A communications infrastructure including home area networks (HANs) and neighborhood area networks (NANs) between smart meters and utility control centers may facilitate power congestion management. Utility control centers (UCCs) in cooperation with smart meters or energy management units (EMUs) may selectively disconnect consumer power generation units to maintain the system reliability.
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for harvesting leakage energy. The apparatus for harvesting leakage energy includes: an energy harvesting unit configured to harvest energy leaked while energy radiated from a transmitting unit of an energy transmitting apparatus is transmitted to a receiving unit of an energy receiving apparatus; and a harvesting circuit module configured to supply energy harvested by the energy harvesting unit to a load. In accordance with the embodiment of the present invention, energy efficiency of overall system can be increased by harvesting the leakage energy without affecting performance of a wireless power transmission system.
