  • Patent number: 9261714
Abstract: A plasmonic all-optical switch includes a graphene layer, a first dielectric layer located on the graphene layer, a nano-antenna located on the first dielectric layer, and a second dielectric layer located on the nano-antenna. An incident beam is propagated by means of a surface plasmon wave generated at an interface between the graphene layer and the first dielectric layer. Further, localized surface plasmon resonance is selectively generated at an interface between the nano-antenna and the second dielectric layer by means of a pump beam incident to the nano-antenna to decrease an intensity of the incident beam. The plasmonic all-optical switch may operate at an ultrahigh speed just with a small light energy without any electric method, greatly reduce power consumption of an IT device by applying to an all-optical transistor or the like, and increase a processing rate.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of synthetic crystal, and more particularly, this invention relates to doped low-temperature phase barium metaborate single crystal, growth method and frequency-converter. Molten salt method was adopted. The single crystal completely overcome the shortcomings of BBO with strong deliquescence, almost no deliquescence; its frequency doubling effect and optical damage threshold has improved greatly compared with the BBO; its hardness increased significantly, the single crystal with Shore hardness of 101.3 and Mohs hardness of 6, however, BBO with Shore hardness of 71.2 and Mohs hardness of 4. From the UV-Vis region transmittance curves tests, the cut-off wavelength of the single crystal is 190 nm, wavelength of absorption onset is 205 nm. BBSAG is widely applied in the fields of laser and nonlinear optics, and in terms of frequency-converter of ultraviolet and deep-ultraviolet due to its excellent properties better than BBO.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method that low complexity suppression of PAPR in FRFT-OFDM system, which belongs to the field of broadband wireless digital communications technology and can be used to reduce the PAPR in FRFT-OFDM system. The method is based on fractional random phase sequence and fractional circular convolution theorem, which can effectively reduce the PAPR of system. The method of the invention has the advantages of simple system implementation and low computational complexity. In this method, the PAPR of the system can be effectively reduced while keeping the system reliability. When the number of candidate signals is the same, the PAPR performance of the proposed method was found to be almost the same as that of SLM and better than that of PTS. More importantly, the proposed method has lower computational complexity than that of SLM and PTS.
