    Abstract: A system and method for firmware upgrade in an AMI are provided. A remote server provides a firmware image file. After receiving the firmware image file and verifying the remote server, a data concentrator transmits at least one encoding symbol generated from the firmware image file to at least one meter through broadcasting and a retransmission mechanism of minimum retransmission contents. Upon receiving a predetermined number of encoding symbols, each meter recovers the original firmware image file from the received encoding symbols. Then, each meter receives and verifies an activation code generated by the remote server before carrying out the firmware upgrade.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a nanoantenna array may include forming a resist layer on a substrate, forming a focusing layer having a dielectric microstructure array on the resist layer, diffusing light one-dimensionally in a specific direction by using a linear diffuser, forming an anisotropic pattern on the resist layer by illuminating the light diffused by the linear diffuser on the focusing layer and the resist layer, depositing a material suitable for a plasmonic resonance onto the substrate and the resist layer on which the pattern is formed, and forming a nanoantenna array on the substrate by removing the resist layer and the material deposited on the resist layer. A light diffusing angle by the linear diffuser and a size of the dielectric microstructure are determined based on an aspect ratio of the pattern to be formed.

    Abstract: A p-type region, a p? type region, and a p+ type region are selectively disposed in a surface layer of a silicon carbide substrate base. The p-type region and the p? type region are disposed in a breakdown voltage structure portion that surrounds an active region. The p+ type region is disposed in the active region to make up a JBS structure. The p? type region surrounds the p-type region to make up a junction termination structure. A Schottky electrode forms a Schottky junction with an n-type silicon carbide epitaxial layer. The Schottky electrode overhangs an interlayer insulation film covering a portion of the p-type region and this overhanging portion acts as a field plate. The p+ type region has an acceptor concentration greater than or equal to a predetermined concentration and can make a forward surge current larger.

The service flow is constituted by packets transmitted by the network interfaces through a port and packets received by the network interfaces through the same port.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and method that measure and analyze the colors of skin based on a spectrum before and after the application of makeup, and then estimate spectral variations in skin before and after the application of makeup and simulate color of any skin after the application of makeup. The makeup color simulation apparatus acquires a spectral image from a captured skin image. Spectral variations in skin before and after application of makeup are estimated. A spectral variation model is created based on the estimated spectral variations, and spectral data of skin varied after application of makeup is calculated based on the spectral variation model. The spectral data of the skin is converted into CIE XYZ color values. The CIE XYZ color values are converted depending on input/output characteristics of an image display unit, and a final image corresponding to results of the conversion is simulated.
