Abstract: A method for manufacturing membrane layers of organic solar cells by roll to roll coating utilizes a roll to roll process for manufacturing an electron transferring layer and an active layer of the organic solar cells is disclosed. The roll to roll process adopted by the method cooperates with a particular solvent and accompanies a parameter control such as temperature and processing time during the sintering and baking steps. The method utilizes a slot-die coating technique in the interim, whereby a membrane layer of the solar cells can be manufactured with a large area for reducing the cost, and the formed membrane layers can have a good efficiency.

Abstract: A method of measuring direction of rotation of a tappet of an engine valve train. Two opposing notches are machined or otherwise formed in the outer surface of the tappet. Two sensors proximate the outer surface of the tappet are operable to detect the change in distance resulting from the notches as the tappet rotates. There is a predetermined difference angle of separation between the arc distance between the notches and the arc distance between the sensors. Each sensor outputs a square wave output having pulses whose width represents detection of the notches by the sensor. The location of the pulses of the two square wave outputs is compared to determine direction of rotation of the tappet.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for embodying an algorithm that can simultaneously restore a present codeword and an interference codeword with low complexity so as to obtain high throughput in a wide interference signal power level are provided. By simultaneously restoring a desired codeword and an interference codeword by considering an interference signal upon decoding, high throughput performance can be obtained regardless of a power level of the interference signal.
