Abstract: Iron oxide nano contrast agents for Magnetic Resonance Imaging which have superior T2 contrast effect, and also can be used as a storage or a carrier for drugs and so on, are disclosed. The iron oxide nano contrast agents can be prepared by the steps of: coating surfaces of hydrophobic FeO nanoparticles with a coating material selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol-phospholipid conjugate, dextran, chitosan, dimercaptosuccinic acid and mixtures thereof in an organic solvent to form hydrophilic FeO nanoparticles having hydrophilic surfaces and dispersibility in water; dispersing the hydrophilic FeO nanoparticles in water to oxidize FeO; and exposing the oxidized hydrophilic FeO nanoparticles to an acidic buffer to dissolve and remove interior unoxidized FeO portions, and thereby to form Fe3O4 nanoparticles having an interior space.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a video processing apparatus and method based on multiple texture images, which can process videos with optimal video quality at a low transfer rate. For this, an input video is divided into shot segments, and one is selected from a plurality of frames of each shot segment as a seed image. A plurality of texture points are detected from the seed image. The plurality of texture points are tracked from the plurality of frames of the shot segment and then spatio-temporal location transform variables for the respective texture points are calculated. Abstract: Provided is a method of fabricating an organic light emitting device that may form a light scattering layer having an irregular random structure at a low temperature. Abstract: The present invention is related to a direct solid sample analytical technology for determining a content and a uniformity thereof in a lyophilized kit of a sulfur-containing chelator with a stable complex capacity for radiotechnetium (Tc-99m) and radiorhenium (Re-186, Re-188). An economical, stable and easily accessible coal standard is used herein as a contrast substance to construct a sulfur calibration curve, followed by obtaining the sulfur content and the uniformity thereof in the solid lyophilized sample by interpolating the foregoing result into the sulfur calibration curve. Then, the weight content percent is converted to get the content and the uniformity of the chelator in the lyophilized kit. The quality control of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in the lyophilized kit during key production processes and clinical applications is thus assured.

Abstract: A radar wave sensing apparatus including a rotation element, a nanosecond pulse near-field sensor and a control unit is provided. The nanosecond pulse near-field sensor emits an incident radar wave and receives a reflection radar wave of the incident radar wave hitting on a surface of the rotation element to obtain a repetition frequency variation of the reflection radar wave corresponding to the incident radar wave. Abstract: Provided are a window cleaning apparatus including first and second cleaning units which are respectively attached on both surfaces of a window using a magnetic force to move together with each other, and a method for controlling a movement of the window cleaning apparatus. Abstract: The invention relates to a turbine engine that includes at least first and second lift turbine stacks with transverse flow. The shafts of adjacent turbines in the first stack are connected by a first coupling device adapted for compensating space misalignments, and the shafts of adjacent turbines in the first stack are connected by a second coupling device adapted for compensating for space misalignments.
