Publication number: 20070153927Abstract: An ICI cancellation iterative receiver and an ICI cancellation method in the wireless communication system is provided. In order to eliminate the Inter-carrier-interference (ICI) due to phase noise, an adaptive ICI cancellation scheme based on the wireless communication system is presented. In order to correct the contaminated preamble symbols due to phase noise, a first LMS adaptive filter in the receiver cancels the ICI. In the following data symbols of a frame, joint of the turbo decoder and channel estimation is provided. The complexity of the joint algorithm is analyzed and the algorithm can be implemented in the wireless communication system. A servo process is provided by the system and method to continuously recording a holographic interferogram in a holographic recording medium with servo trace layers. By the servo process, reproducing signals are captured rapidly and correctly. Also, by the servo process, the intensity distribution of a reference beam is monitored, which is reflected by a reflecting mirror disposed on the other side of the holographic recording medium and transmits the holographic recording medium. By analyzing the distribution, one can adjust the distance and the incidence angle between the reflection mirror and the reference beam. An indentation device, disposed on a surface of the target material, generates an indentation on the surface, obtaining the relation between the Young's modulus and the Poisson's ratio of the target material. An ultrasonic generator is movably disposed on the surface of the target material, generating at least two different ultrasonic signals thereon. An ultrasonic receiver is disposed on the surface of the target material and separated from the ultrasonic generator, receiving the ultrasonic signals. The result of a nano-indentation experiment are applied in the ultrasonic theory and iterated by the ultrasonic experimental data and theory, obtaining the Young's modulus of the target material.
