  • Patent number: 7207787
Abstract: A scroll compressor with a backflow-proof mechanism. The scroll compressor comprises a slider disposed on a scroll couple, forming several enclosed spaces. The slider is raised by the working fluid in the spaces, preventing liquid leakage from a high-pressure chamber to a low-pressure chamber, when the scroll compressor starts. The slider descends when the compression ratio of the scroll compressor is exceeded. Thus, the pressure is released, and the performance of the scroll compressor is improved. The slider of the invention further comprises a floating element to prevent reversal of pressurized fluid and damage to the scroll couple.

  • Patent number: 7208065
Abstract: The specification discloses a structure and method for measuring the etching speed. A test layer is connected with several resistors. Etching the metal layer disconnects in order the resistors from the circuit. The equivalent resistance of the sensing resistor system is measured to obtain the etching speed. In consideration of the errors of the resistors, the invention also provides a structure that utilizes an IC layout technique to put an interdigitized dummy resistor beside the sensing resistors. By taking the ratio of the equivalent resistance of the sensing resistors and the dummy resistor, the invention can compute to obtain the etching speed.

Abstract: A verification system and method for packet call processing of a mobile telephone. Each IP address is assigned to a terminal, a packet service simulator and the mobile telephone. The packet service simulator simulates a control signal of UTRAN necessary for the mobile telephone and connects data traffic to an internet after a packet call establishment. The packet service simulator transmits an IP packet generated from the terminal to its Ethernet address, receives a packet for the terminal and transmits it to the mobile telephone. For this, the packet service simulator responds to the terminal's ARP request. The terminal is linked to the mobile telephone via a PPP, and the mobile telephone and the packet service simulator to an external internet via an Ethernet.

  • Patent number: 7208104
Abstract: A mixture solution for preparing conducting polymers. The conducting polymer is formed from a mixture of monomer and oxidant solution. The oxidant solution has a high concentration, and also includes a five or six-member ring compound with a functional group which acts as a retardant for the polymerization. Thus, the mixture of a monomer and oxidant solution exhibits excellent stability at room temperature. The conducting polymer accumulating in the space of the capacitor element can be more efficiently formed by using this high concentration oxidant solution. Therefore, the immersion and polymerization processes to form conducting polymer as the electrolyte of a solid electrolytic capacitor can be limited to only a few occurrences.

Abstract: A method and a device for performing placement of a plurality of elements for circuit design. A potential location is assigned to each element and a placement engine is assigned to each potential location. Pairing operations are performed, in parallel, between placement engines to determine whether to perform exchange of the elements associated with the engines. Exchange determination is based both on a cost function and on randomness considerations. Also self-placement is allowed, where the placement engines are implemented on the same hardware system on which the elements are to be placed.
