Abstract: A battery management system includes one or more processors, a battery comprising a plurality of cells, an output device, an input device, and a memory having an input module, a battery characteristic prediction module, and an output module. The input module includes instructions that cause the one or more processors to receive a mode selection from a user via the input device. The battery characteristic prediction module includes instructions that cause the one or more processors to predict a characteristic of the battery based on the mode selection using an active machine learning model to predict the characteristic of the battery. The output module includes instructions that cause the one or more processors to output an estimated cost to the output device based on the characteristic of the battery determined by the active machine learning model.

Abstract: The invention provides tissue culture system for primary cells (e.g. normal mammalian primary epithelial progenitors). This system includes: a) a serum-free, chemically defined cell culture media; and, b) methods for isolation and in vitro long-term propagation of primary cells (e.g. primary epithelial cells). Primary cells so isolated and cultured can be kept undifferentiated and proliferate for many weeks (>15 weeks) or population doubling (>35 PD) without senescence, or any detectable genetic alterations. Upon changing media/culture conditions, these cells can be induced to differentiate. The invention also provides methods to transform normal primary cells so cultured into “cancer stem cells.” The genetically defined cancer stem cell tumor model mimics the behavior of the disease closely, e.g., the cells are invasive, hormone responsive and metastatic when injected into mice. The tumor cells express genes that are specific to cancer stem cells identified in patient samples.

Abstract: A three-dimensional imaging system and method based on rotational scanning is disclosed. The inventive composition has better hydrothermal stability and higher activity of reducing CO and NOx emissions in the flue gas from the regeneration.

The security check system includes a thread creating unit, a first thread parallel unit, a second thread parallel unit, a third thread parallel unit, a fourth thread parallel unit, and a thread loop control unit. Because subsequent data processing is not required to be performed after the acquisition of all data is completed, the time for a security check process is reduced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biomarker for diagnosis of overactive bladder (OAB) disease, and a method for screening a drug using the biomarker. The markers described in the present invention can effectively detect or diagnose the onset of OAB by distinguishing them from normal populations. In particular, OAB-specific protein markers released into urine enable simple and rapid OAB diagnosis in a non-invasive manner. In addition, by selecting an agent that changes, particularly normalizes the expression and activity of the markers selected in the present invention, more effective preventative or therapeutic agents of OAB disease can be screened.
