    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for synthetically making an ultra-wide imaging bandwidth in millimeter-wave frequencies, resulting in improved image resolutions to values previously unattained. The synthetic approach sums up a number of available sub-bands to build an unavailable ultra-wideband system. Each sub-band contains a transceiver unit which is optimized for operation within that specific sub-band. The number and position of the sub-bands can be adjusted to cover any frequency range as required for the specific application.

    Abstract: A method for arterial endothelial-enhanced functional T cell generation is provided. In the method, arterial endothelial cells enhance functional T cell generation by promoting the generation of hematopoietic progenitor cells with T-lineage bias. The first stage of T cell differentiation from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) is optimized, and it is found that hPSC-derived autologous arterial endothelial cells increase the T cell potential of hematopoietic progenitor cells. Moreover, the T cells generated by arterial endothelial cell priming share similar function to that of human peripheral blood T cells. hPSC-derived CD19-CAR-T cells have been verified to have tumor-killing effects both in vivo and in vitro. The established hPSC-T differentiation system would provide a valuable resource for chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a membrane electrode, fuel cell gas diffusion layer, and process for preparing the fuel cell gas diffusion layer, the process comprising: S1 coating microporous layer slurry on the surface of hydrophobic carbon paper; the microporous layer slurry was obtained by dispersing mixture of carbon powder, polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion solution, thickener, and solvent; S2 moving the hydrophobic carbon paper coated with the microporous layer slurry to a porous ceramic plate, and connecting a vacuum pump to the porous ceramic plate, vacuumed for adsorption pre-infiltration treatment, and then dried. S3 continuing to coat the microporous layer slurry on the hydrophobic carbon paper dried in step S2, then drying, and then sintering at 250-400° C. to obtain a gas diffusion layer. The beneficial effects of this disclosure include: this disclosure improve the water vapor erosion resistance of the microporous layer and the durability of the gas diffusion layer.

    Abstract: A regeneration method for a benzene alkylation solid acid catalyst, comprising: purging the solid acid catalyst in a reactor with a gas; continuously injecting n-hexane at a feed port of the reactor and heating the n-hexane to wash the solid acid catalyst, and discharging the n-hexane entraining benzene alkylation reaction residues from a discharge port of the reactor; and stopping injecting n-hexane, cleaning off a liquid in the reactor by purging with the gas, and cooling the reactor. In the regeneration method of the present disclosure, the regeneration liquid used is n-hexane, which can increase the solubility of the residues in channels and enhance the regeneration effect. Meanwhile, permanent damage to the channel structure of the catalyst caused by carbon burning regeneration can be avoided, thereby prolonging the lifetime of the catalyst.

The flow rate can be adjusted by adding or removing the beads using injection needles through self-sealing ports, one injection needle injecting or aspirating beads and another injection needle pushing or pulling fluid from outside of a bead trap within the flow restrictor. In alternative embodiments, the beads or other filler material can be trapped in a manifold bead trap such that they block a subset of fluid channels of the flow restrictor, allowing fluid to flow freely through the rest of the fluid channels. The flow restrictor can be integrated with a contact lens or implantable medical device for use in dispensing liquid therapeutic agents at flow rates of microliters per minute or moving body fluids at a controlled rate from one part of the body to another.
