Abstract: A laser beam alignment system includes at least one mirror with a surface pattern configured to receive and reflect a laser beam, at least one detector configured to detect a deflected portion of a laser beam from the mirror, and at least one controller configured to communicate with the at least one mirror and the at least one detector and to control the mirror position on the basis of the deflected portion of the laser beam.

Abstract: An ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-fine particle size polyethylene has a viscosity average molecular weight (Mv) greater than 1×106. The polyethylene is spherical or are sphere-like particles having a mean particle size of 10-100 ?m, having a standard deviation of 2-15 ?m and a bulk density of 0.1-0.3 g/mL. Using the polyethylene as a basic polyethylene, a grafted polyethylene can be obtained by means of a solid-phase grafting method; and a glass fiber-reinforced polyethylene composition comprising the polyethylene and glass fibers, and a sheet or pipe prepared therefrom; a solubilized ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-fine particle size polyethylene; and a fiber and a film prepared from the solubilized ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-fine particle size polyethylene may also be obtained. The method has simple steps, is easy to control, has a relatively low cost and a high repeatability, and can realize industrialisation.

Abstract: Accordingly, the embodiments herein provide a hybrid modular multilevel converter. The hybrid modular multilevel converter includes one or more chain links, one or more high voltage switches and a plurality of inductors. The one or more chain links are formed by sub modules. The one or more high voltage switches are formed by semi-controlled devices or fully controlled or any other suitable semiconductor devices. The plurality of inductors are arranged in the one or more chain links to limit circulating current among the one or more chain links. The one or more chain links are configured to enhance a power handling capability of the hybrid modular multilevel converter.

Abstract: A method of leak detection for oil and gas pipeline based on excitation response and system thereof includes: applying an active excitation signal (a pressure pulse directly input by human) or a passive excitation signal (a pressure fluctuation caused by opening and closing valves, etc.) to an oil and gas pipeline with existing leakage points, the excitation signal is reflected at the pipeline boundary and the leakage, and the reflected pressure wave continues to propagate to upstream and downstream, and finally is collected by the dynamic pressure transducer, then the existing leakage of the pipeline is detected and positioned by analyzing the transient response signal and the reflected pressure wave of leakage signal.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a hysteresis signal detection circuit, comprising: a first MOS transistor, a second MOS transistor, an inverter INV1, an inverter INV2 and an inverter INV3. A gate of the first MOS transistor is connected with an input end, and a drain of the first MOS transistor is connected with an output end through the inverter INV1, the inverter INV2 and the inverter INV3 successively; a source of the first MOS transistor is connected with a drain of the second MOS transistor, and a gate of the second MOS transistor is connected between the inverter INV1 and the inverter INV2; and a resistor R1 is connected between a source and the drain of the second MOS transistor. In the present invention, not only the hysteresis voltage can be adjusted through current and resistance values, which is flexible, but also the hysteresis voltage may not change with power voltage.

Abstract: A key DNA sequence for regulating a maize leaf angle and a mutant thereof are provided, which have polynucleotide sequences shown in SEQ ID No. 1 and SEQ ID No. 2, respectively. The DNA sequence for regulating a maize leaf angle and the mutant thereof provided by present disclosure can regulate the expression of ZmNAC16 gene in a maize pulvinus, and thus can be used for the improvement of maize leaf angle and plant type and further for the cultivation of new maize varieties. The present disclosure further provides specific detection primers for detecting mutations of the DNA key sequence and the mutant, and detection primers for detecting an expression level of ZmNAC16 gene in maize. These detection primers can be used to directionally improve a maize leaf angle and also shows application potential for breeding of dense-planting-tolerant and high-yield maize.
