  • Patent number: 11459538
Abstract: Control of humidity in chemical reactors, and associated systems and methods, are generally described. In certain embodiments, the humidity within gas transport conduits and chambers can be controlled to inhibit unwanted condensation within gas transport pathways. By inhibiting condensation within gas transport pathways, clogging of such pathways can be limited (or eliminated) such that transport of gas can be more easily and controllably achieved. In addition, strategies for purging condensed liquid from chemical reactor systems are also described.

  • Patent number: 11460581
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for removing LiDAR points is provided. An image is received from a camera and a plurality of points is received from a LiDAR sensor. The points are placed on the image based on coordinates associated with each point. The image is divided into a plurality of cells by placing a grid over the image. For each cell, a threshold is calculated based on the minimum distance between the points in the cell and the camera. The threshold may control how many points are allowed to remain in each cell. After calculating the thresholds, points are removed from each cell until the number of points in each cell do not exceed the threshold for the cell. The image and/or the reduced plurality of points are then used to provide one or more vehicle functions.

  • Patent number: 11458288
Abstract: A method for removing bodily fluid includes drawing bodily fluid that has accumulated in excess, converting the drawn fluid from bulk liquid form to aerosol form, and disposing of the aerosol via evaporation of liquid droplets and absorption and/or diffusion of vapor. Conversion from bulk liquid to aerosol may include collecting the bulk liquid fluid in a reservoir, conveying the bulk liquid bodily fluid to an atomizer, converting the bulk liquid fluid into an aerosol having ultrafine droplets, and ejecting the aerosol into a subcutaneous space for disposal via evaporation of liquid droplets and absorption and/or diffusion of vapors. The method may be performed with a subcutaneous atomizer that may be controlled locally or by an external transmitter for effecting a conversion and mist rate to keep pace with the accumulation of excess bodily fluid.

  • Patent number: 11458230
Abstract: The present inventions in various aspects provide elastic biodegradable polymers. In various embodiments, the polymers are formed by the reaction of a multifunctional alcohol or ether and a difunctional or higher order acid to form a pre-polymer, which is cross-linked to form the elastic biodegradable polymer. In preferred embodiments, the cross-linking is performed by functionalization of one or more OR groups on the pre-polymer backbone with vinyl, followed by photopolymerization to form the elastic biodegradable polymer composition or material. Preferably, acrylate is used to add one or more vinyls to the backbone of the pre-polymer to form an acrylated pre-polymer. In various embodiments, acrylated pre-polymers are co-polymerized with one or more acrylated co-polymers.

  • Patent number: 11462683
Abstract: Described are CMOS-compatible protonic resistive devices (e.g., processing elements and/or memory elements). In embodiments, a protonic resistive memory can be formed from a proton-sensitive metal oxide channel where the concentration of protons intercalated inside the layer is controlled to modulate its conductivity. The protons can initially be supplied to the material stack by an implantation method. Irradiation techniques can be implemented to increase the concentration and conductivity of protons inside the materials. Some designs can put the active layer and reservoir in direct contact, creating an electrolyte-free device. Designs provide scalable solutions for full-scale Si-integration.
