  • Patent number: 11438253
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing firewall functionalities, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing high availability (“HA”) web application firewall (“WAF”) functionalities. In various embodiments, a first computing system might monitor network communications between a client and a server providing access to software applications, and might determine whether latency has been introduced as a result of at least one first WAF container having been launched and whether any introduced latency exceeds a predetermined threshold, each first WAF container being tuned to a corresponding software application and protecting the software application from network attacks. Based on a determination that latency has been introduced and based on a determination that the introduced latency exceeds the predetermined threshold, one or more second WAF containers may be launched, each being tuned to the corresponding software application.

  • Patent number: 11434815
Abstract: An Engine with Isochoric Combustion has pistons arranged within cylinders, connecting rods connected to the pistons and to upper joints of triangle links, and a crankshaft with crankpins offset from the centerline of the crankshaft by crank arms. The triangle links are connected to the crankpins at additional joints of the triangle links. Radius links are pivotally connected to the engine by pivot pins at one end and to the triangle links at a further joint of the triangle links at their other end. By way of geometry of the linkages defined by the crank arms, the triangle links, the radius links, and the connecting rods, and by way of the relative positions of the crankshaft, the cylinders, and the pivot pins, during a crank angle segment, the Cylinder Volume during the combustion event is characterized by an extended dwell.

  • Patent number: 11434447
Abstract: A silicone modified lubricant includes a Group I, II, III, IV or V base oil in combination with a minor amount of a silicone oil. Further, the lubricant includes a dispersant such as a dispersant olefin copolymer which maintains the silicone oil dispersed in the base oil. The silicone oil reduces the surface tension of the lubricant thereby reducing power loss. Preferably the lubricant formation has a surface tension less than 28 mN/m, making it particularly suitable for dip lubrication systems.

  • Publication number: 20220263837
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for utilizing blockchain to implement named data networking. In various embodiments, a computing system might determine whether a cache that is communicatively coupled to the computing system contains data that is responsive to a first request received from a user. If so, the computing system might retrieve and send (to the client device) data that is responsive to the received first request. If not, the computing system might send, to a blockchain system, a second request for identifying a blockchain containing a block containing data responsive to the received first request. In response to identifying such a blockchain, the computing system might receive a copy of the identified blockchain; might abstract, from the identified blockchain, the block containing the data responsive to the received first request; might abstract the data from the identified block; and might send the data to the client device.

  • Patent number: 11414940
Abstract: Systems and methods include an extreme range anchor, having extending assemblies configured to engage a wellbore, for providing a self-centering, reusable anchor location within a wellbore. The extending assemblies include a first set of arms connected to a first brace, a second set of arms connected to a second brace, and a set of footplates. Each footplate in the set of footplates is connected to the first set of arms and the second set of arms. Each footplate includes a fixator coupled to a radially external face and configured to securely engage the wellbore. The system also includes a pull rod rigidly coupled to the first brace and slidably connected to the second brace. Forcing the pull rod in an axial direction shortens a distance between the first brace and the second brace and forces the set of footplates to move in a radial direction toward the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20220255948
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing a telemetry hub, and, more particularly, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing a telemetry hub that obtains sensor data from a plurality of sources and that determines one or more first actions to take in response to receiving the first sensor data. In operation, a telemetry hub might receive first sensor data from one or more sensors. The telemetry hub may determine whether the first sensor data can be trusted and whether the first sensor data is valid. Based on a determination that the first sensor data can be trusted and is valid, the telemetry hub might analyze the first sensor data to determine one or more first actions to take. The telemetry hub might then implement the one or more first actions based at least in part on the analysis of the first sensor data.

  • Patent number: 11378112
Abstract: A bolted joint providing a “zero-clearance” fit formed from a bolt including a shoulder that works during installation to cold form a deformable sleeve. The bolted joint joins a bolt receiving member to a clamped component. One or more bolted joints may be used and as the bolts are installed, shoulders on each of the bolts dilate deformable sleeves until the outer diameters of the sleeves contact internal walls of through holes in the clamped component. Each of the deformable sleeves includes at least one groove or flute on its interior surface that results in: reduced radial load on internal walls of the clamped component and the bolt receiving members, and less friction between the sleeve and both the clamped component and a counter bore disposed within the bolt receiving member, thereby allowing for smaller percentage of the bolt's tensile strength capability required to deform the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 11381669
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques might provide for implementing extension of customer local area networks (“LANs”) and/or implementing isolated service overlays over a network. In some embodiments, a network service point that is located external to a demarcation point at each of a plurality of customer premises might establish a connection between a service provider network and a customer LAN, which has already been established within a customer premises. The system subsequently extends the customer LAN, via this connection, to span between the network service point and the customer premises. Alternatively, or additionally, the system might establish two or more isolated service overlays across the customer LAN between the network service point and the customer premises, each of the two or more isolated service overlays having network traffic that is isolated from network traffic transmitted along another of the two or more isolated service overlays.
