The methods may include contacting a feed stream with a catalyst in a reactor portion of a reactor system to form a reactor effluent stream, separating at least a portion of the reactor effluent stream from the catalyst, passing the catalyst to a catalyst processing portion and processing the catalyst, wherein processing the catalyst comprises contacting the catalyst with oxygen, passing the catalyst from the processing portion to the reactor portion, wherein the catalyst exiting the processing portion comprises at least 0.001 wt. % oxygen, and contacting the catalyst with supplemental hydrogen, the contacting removing at least a portion of the oxygen from the catalyst by a combustion reaction.

The anti-corrosion layer is a duplex steel layer that provides a cost-effective coating for the brake disk and enables improved corrosion resistance. The anti-abrasion layer is wear resistant and is provided by a SiC material containing at least one oxidic or metallic binder, or by an iron-based alloy having a vanadium carbide reinforcement, a niobium carbide reinforcement, a boron carbide reinforcement, a chromium carbide reinforcement or combinations thereof.

A reflective contact is on the contact layer to reflect a portion of the light emitted from the light generation area, the reflected light being collimated at the mesa and directed through the base to the light emitting surface. In some embodiments, the epitaxial structure grown on a non-transparent substrate. The substrate is removed, or used to form an extended reflector to collimate light.

The SCC transmissions from the first SOBR radio may be utilized by other SOBR enabled radios to determine an interference level to or from the first SOBR radio's primary link. The SCC transmission may be utilized to allow transmit beam forming between SOBR-enabled radios without damaging other friendly SOBR radios within the propagation distance of the transmitted signals based upon the detection of the SCC transmissions.

The ACP system can also include horizontal artificial anisotropic magnetic permeability (HAAMP) elements distributed over the terrestrial medium. The array of ACP elements can be distributed about a launching structure, which can excite the ACP system with an electromagnetic field to launch a Zenneck surface wave.

    Abstract: An improved system and process for rapidly producing distilled spirits having characteristics associated with a much longer maturation process is provided. The method involves contacting wood with an unmatured distilled spirit under heated conditions and contacting the resulting heat-treated spirit with actinic light. The disclosure provides embodiments where a spirit is sequentially processed through heat and actinic light treatment. The disclosure also provides embodiments where a heat-treated spirit is mixed with a spirit that has been separately treated with light to give characteristics of a mature spirit. Air may also be percolated through a mature spirit in a container with a headspace at a gauge pressure between about ?25 inHg and about ?30 inHg, until the alcohol concentration of the mature spirit is reduced by between about 1% to about 2% by volume, and until the total volume of the mature spirit is reduced by about 10% or less.
