Abstract: A track device is disclosed for providing bending-radius protection and strain relief between a fiber optic cable and a telecommunications closure. The track device includes a first sidewall, and a second sidewall separated from the first sidewall by a curved channel. A secondary wall connects the first and second sidewalk, and open lateral sides are configured to receive one or more fiber optic cables for routing portions of the one or more fiber optic cables inside the curved channel.

Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters of a primary cell and a secondary cell. The secondary cell may be a scheduling cell for the primary cell. The wireless device may monitor, for scheduling information of the primary cell, search space(s) of the secondary cell based on the secondary cell being activated. The wireless device may receive a DCI via the secondary cell and in response to the monitoring. The DCI may comprise a first field and a second field. A first value of the first field may indicate first scheduling information. A second value of the second field may indicate that the first scheduling information is for scheduling the primary cell. The wireless device may receive or transport a transport block via the primary cell and based on the first scheduling information.
Abstract: Encapsulation devices, systems and methods are provided. In some embodiments, encapsulation devices for housing cells and providing various therapeutic benefits to a patient or host are provided. Encapsulation devices are provided that include a matrix or scaffold within a cell-receiving area or void, and methods of forming and preparing such a matrix are disclosed. Encapsulation devices that include channels are further provided, and the channels of the present disclosure are operable to convey fluid to internal areas of devices without restricting vascularization.

Abstract: A method for selectively hydrogenating acetylene in a cracked gas from a steam cracking unit for producing olefins may include separating a hydrogenation feed from the cracked gas. The hydrogenation feed may include acetylene, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and at least one product. The method may further include contacting the hydrogenation feed with an acetylene hydrogenation catalyst, the contacting causing hydrogenation of at least a portion of the acetylene of the hydrogenation feed to produce a hydrogenation effluent. In response to a change in a composition of a feedstock to the steam cracking unit that results in a change in a hydrogen concentration in the hydrogenation feed, the method may further include determining the hydrogen concentration in the hydrogenation feed and increasing or decreasing a temperature of the hydrogenation feed based on the determined hydrogen concentration of the hydrogenation feed.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, Lube Oil Controlled Ignition (LOCI) Engine Combustion overcomes the drawbacks of known combustion technologies. First, lubricating oil is already part of any combustion engine; hence, there is no need to carry a secondary fuel and to have to depend on an additional fuel system as in the case of dual-fuel technologies. Second, the ignition and the start of combustion rely on the controlled autoignition of the lubricating oil preventing the occurrence of abnormal combustion as experienced with the Spark Ignition technology. Third, LOCI combustion is characterized by the traveling of a premixed flame; hence, it has a controllable duration resulting in a wide engine load-speed window unlike the Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition technology where the engine load-speed window is narrow. Adaptive Intake Valve Closure may be used to control in-cylinder compression temperature to be high enough to realize the consistent auto ignition of the lubricating oil mist.
