Abstract: A coating composition is disclosed. The coating composition is useful for providing a coating, e.g. on a surface of an article. The coating provides very low adhesion to ice, faster ice removal by heating power, etc. The coating composition comprises a silicone rubber, a thermal conductive filler, a reactive polysiloxane, an unsaturated group containing alkoxysilane, a catalyst, and a solvent.

Abstract: Use of a NAND array architecture to realize a binary neural network (BNN) allows for matrix multiplication and accumulation to be performed within the memory array. A unit synapse for storing a weight of a BNN is stored in a pair of series connected memory cells. A binary input is applied as a pattern of voltage values on a pair of word lines connected to the unit synapse to perform the multiplication of the input with the weight by determining whether or not the unit synapse conducts. The results of such multiplications are determined by a sense amplifier, with the results accumulated by a counter.

Abstract: The invention herein relates to conducting assays with an apparatus including a substantially transparent assay cartridge loaded with magnetic beads, and a magnets positioned in a platform above and below the assay cartridge. The assay cartridge includes magnetic beads, sample and control solutions in some wells, and assay reagents in others. A microcomputer controls a linear actuator which moves the magnet platform causing the magnetic beads to travel from one well to another and to oscillate within a well. At assay completion, the cartridge will generate a signal representing a test result, which is then sent to a server through a wireless transmission system.

Abstract: Apparatuses and techniques are described for optimizing a program operation in a memory device in which groups of memory cells are programmed from checkpoint states to respective data states. In a first program pass, groups of memory cells are programmed to respective checkpoint states with verify tests. Each checkpoint state is associated with a set of data states. In a second program pass, the memory cells are programmed closer to their assigned data state with a specified number of program pulses. In a third program pass, the memory cells are programmed to their assigned data state by applying program pulses and performing verify tests. The number of checkpoint states and the number of data states associated with each checkpoint state can be optimized based on a spacing between the verify voltages of the data states.

Abstract: A pick-up head assembly comprises a body of a liquid crystalline elastomer (LCE) that undergoes a reversible expansion when exposed to a first frequency of light and contracts when exposed to a second frequency of light. Selective portions of the LCE in the pick-up head assembly are irradiated with the first frequency to cause an expansion in the selective portions. The adhesive forces of the expanded portions of the LCE are used to pick-up semiconductor devices from a first substrate. The semiconductor devices are placed on a second substrate by exposing the expanded portions of the LCE to the second frequency of light, causing the expanded portions to contract.
