Abstract: A network connected secure system for validating electronic certificate codes. The network connected secure computing system is coupled to a network for access by a plurality of users at a plurality of user devices. The system includes a database to store information including at least user accounts, electronic certificates associated with the user accounts, and electronic certificate codes associated with the electronic certificates. The system also includes a downloadable mobile software application. The system is configured to validate the downloaded mobile software application, provide one or more electronic certificates and one or more electronic certificate codes for display at the user devices.

Abstract: A method of providing a house-banked side game that includes receiving a side bet in the side game associated with the base game from one or more players in the base game, the side bet corresponding to a side game having a payout triggering event associated with a group of community playing cards being the same as at least one preset combination of playing cards, dealing at least two of the playing cards to at least two of users participating in the base game, dealing at least three community playing cards to the group of community playing cards shared by a at least two users participating in the base game, comparing the first three community playing cards with the preset combination, awarding a payout to the players from which a side bet is received responsive to the payout triggering event, and maintaining the side bets thereafter.

Abstract: A cutting board and container allows a user to reduce food into smaller pieces on a cutting surface and immediately transfer the food pieces into a food container. The food container includes container rim, a first retention extrusion, and a second retention extrusion. The cutting surface includes a first board-retention hole and a second board-retention hole. The first retention extrusion is slotted into first board-retention hole and the second retention extrusion is slotted into second board-retention hole to secure the cutting surface onto the food container. The cutting surface includes a food brink to allow the user to directly deposit food pieces from the cutting surface through a food receiving opening of the food container and into the food container.

Abstract: A composition and method for manufacturing nut butters that are resistant to oil separation. The composition may comprise one or more nut butters, konjac fiber, water, a secondary fat, and flavorings. The ingredients are preferably blended via low-shear mixing. The konjac fiber may be derived from corm konjac and may also take the form of a konjac flour.

Abstract: A telescoping syringe suitable for use with medications and other flowable materials is presented. The telescoping syringe includes a one-way valve, a plunger, and a barrel. The valve includes a barrier, an outlet(s) through the barrier, and an annular extension extending from the barrier. The plunger includes an inlet(s) and a proximal wall fixed at one end of a first side wall. The valve directly contacts a distal end of the first wall so that an annular flange extending inward from the annular extension slidingly engages an annular groove along the first wall between first and second positions. The circumferential end of the first wall contacts the barrier in the first position to close the outlet(s). The circumferential end does not contact the barrier in the second position to open the outlet(s). A first reservoir is defined by the first wall, the proximal wall, and the valve. The inlet(s) permits gas to enter the first reservoir as fluid is transferred through the valve to a second reservoir.

Abstract: A bipolar battery including a) one or more stacks of battery plates assembled into electrochemical cells having i) one or more bipolar plates and ii) a first and second monopolar plate; b) a liquid electrolyte disposed between each pair of battery plates, wherein the liquid electrolyte functions with an anode and cathode pair to form an electrochemical cell; c) a separator located between the anode and the cathode of the electrochemical cell; and d) a membrane comprising a polymeric material disposed about an entire periphery of edges of the one or more stacks of battery plates so as to form a seal about the periphery of the edge of the battery plates, and wherein the seal prevents the liquid electrolyte from flowing outside of the one or more stacks of battery plates.

Abstract: A ceiling light LED retrofit kit is provided. The kit is configured for attachment to an existing, installed linear fluorescent tube lighting fixture. The kit includes a light panel, a first profile extending along a first longitudinal side of the existing fluorescent light fixture, and a second profile extending along a second longitudinal side of an existing light fixture. The retrofit kit light panel includes light emitting diodes. A raceway may be defined between the retrofit kit and the previously-installed fixture, in which wiring and other components may reside away from you.

Abstract: Systems and methods for manufacturing metal fuel are described. Methods for fabricating a metal-fuel-matrix cermet nuclear fuel may include crushed ceramic particles combined with metallic fast reactor fuel via bottom pour casting or injection casting, or a powdered metallurgical process. A maximum quantity of crushed ceramic particles added to the metallic fuel must not exceed that which would fail to yield a continuous matrix of metal fuel. After a short irradiation period, the microstructure of the fuel may be substantially identical to that of injection cast fuel, without crushed ceramic particles, irrespective of the fabrication process. Thus, the extensive existing database for injection cast fuel, without crushed ceramic particles, may be an excellent indicator of expected irradiation performance. Each of the processes may contribute to a solution of the spent nuclear fuel problem and may denature Pu239 during the process.

Abstract: A gaming device includes a base, a runway, and a target. The base includes a baseplate and a ramp. The base plate has an upper surface and a leading end. The ramp includes a ramp leg that supports the ramp in an inclined position. The runway has a free end that extends from the leading end of the base plate in a deployed configuration of the gaming device. The target includes a target plate having a target surface that defines a plurality of holes. The target plate is hingedly attached to the base plate such that the base plate is foldable into the target in a transport configuration of the gaming device. In the transport configuration, the upper surface of the base plate opposes the target surface of the target plate with the ramp disposed between the upper surface and the target surface.

The cross member is configured to extend or retract to allow for connection to various sizes and types of vehicle tires. Signage or other objects are attached to the cross member or extended members extending from the connectors.

The interior portion has a plurality of raised surface features, a plurality of channels, and a plurality of connecting bridges formed therein. A plurality of bosses extend from the interior portion of the main body. Each of the bosses includes a plurality of sidewalls. At least one support feature depends from an interior surface of at least one of the bosses.

Abstract: A spill-proof, passive air freshener refill cartridge, effective for at least sixty days, includes both a wick assembly and a supply canister filled with a volatile liquid fragrance. The volatile liquid fragrance is dispersed into the air by a caged tripartite wick assembly. The tripartite wick assembly has a cylindrical wall component, from which most dispersal occurs, a circular laminar component, and a pointed vertical pole component. The circular laminar component is in contact with both the base of the cylindrical wall component and the top of the vertical pole component, which extends downwardly from the center of the circular laminar component into the supply canister containing the volatile liquid fragrance. The volatile liquid fragrance is transported via the pointed vertical pole component to the circular laminar component to the cylindrical wall component.

Abstract: An apparatus for determining the volume of fluid dispensed. The apparatus has an acoustic volume sensor that acoustically excites a reference volume and a measurement chamber with a loudspeaker and measures the acoustic response with microphones acoustically coupled to the reference and the measurement chamber. The loudspeaker and sensing microphones are connected to the measurement chamber by separate ports. A detachable dispensing chamber is coupled to the acoustic volume sensor. The volume of the fluid dispensed is determined by a processor based on the acoustic response of the microphones to acoustic excitement by the loudspeaker.

Abstract: A workstation has a main body with at least two support structures pivotally displaced about a vertical axis, and a platform removably affixed to the support structures. The support structures may alternate between an opened position and a closed position, where the structures may be spaced apart in the opened position and may abut one another in the closed position. The support structures are rotatably connected to a central post. The platform is configured to also connect with the central post when the support structures are in a closed position. Abstract: A system for tilling compression marks formed in a field by wheels of agricultural machinery the system including a first roller assembly having a plurality of blade assemblies positioned in spaced relation to one another. The first roller assembly rotatably connected to a swing arm which moves the first roller assembly between a disengaged position, where the roller assembly does not penetrate the soil, and an engaged position where the roller assembly does penetrate and till the soil. The first roller assembly is positioned behind and in alignment with a first wheel of the agricultural machinery such that the first roller assembly tills the compression mark formed by the first wheel.

Abstract: A method for detecting malware beaconing in a network is provided. The method includes maintaining a database identifying a plurality of server certificates and a number of Internet Protocol addresses associated with each of the plurality of server certificates, capturing network traffic over a network connection at a network connected device, and analyzing the network traffic by determining SSL and/or TLS server certificates associated with Internet Protocol addresses associated with the network traffic and a number of servers associated with each of the server certificates wherein a greater number of servers associated with a particular one of the server certificates is indicative of less likelihood of malware beaconing. The method may include further analyzing the network traffic to determine malware beaconing, wherein the further analyzing is performed by a computing device.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards a helmet adapted for use by a human being for a variety of activities. The helmet includes a shell, a plurality of FAEs, and at least one rigid component. The shell maybe configured and arranged to cover a portion of a wearer's head. The plurality of FAEs may be separately positioned adjacent to the shell's interior surface. Each FAE may include at least one disc spring that is adapted for absorbing forces. The at least one rigid component may be disposed within the shell and adjacent to the plurality of FAEs. In this way, the FAEs may be between the shell's interior surface and the at least one rigid component. When a force is applied to a location on the shell's exterior surface, it may be substantially absorbed by at least one of the FAEs positioned adjacent to the location on the shell's interior surface.
