Abstract: A hinge has a hinge arm (5, 15) which is mounted on a mounting plate (10, 16) directly, or indirectly by way of an intermediate plate (8), and is rotatably connected by way of at least one hinge pivot to a hinge cup (4) securable to a door (3) of an article of furniture. The hinge arm (5, 15) is fixed on the mounting plate (16) or intermediate plate (8) by a spring-loaded locking member. The locking member is formed by two shackle parts (6) which are displaceably held in the hinge arm (5, 15) and, in the locked position, hook in behind projections (23, 23') arranged on lateral webs (21, 21') of the mounting plate (16) or of the intermediate plate (8). The shackle parts (6) each have a C-shaped portion (7) which embraces one of the lateral webs (21, 21') of the mounting plate (16) or of the intermediate plate (8).

Abstract: A drawer frame or drawer rail of metal has a horizontal support web for a bottom board of a wood material or plastic. A plurality of tabs having upwardly directed claws are pushed out of the horizontal support web. The claws are each arranged at the side of the tabs and the tabs are oriented in the longitudinal direction of the support web. Each tab is provided with only one claw.

Abstract: A drawer includes two double-walled drawer frame members, in which respective profile elements of plastic material are accommodated, which extend over the entire length of the drawer frame members. The profile elements either comprise separate front and rear subelements which have cover plates with which they adjoin the front and rear ends of the drawer frame members, or are provided with retaining elements such as slides or rockers, wherein the profile elements are anchored in the drawer frame members at the rear ends thereof.

Abstract: A drawer includes two drawer side members into each of which a pull-out rail of a pull-out guide set is releasably hung. Each pull-out rail has at its rear end a hook which projects horizontally above the pull-out rail and by which it can be hung on the drawer side member. Each drawer side member has at its front region a rearwardly directed rigid hook which engages under a horizontal web of the pull-out rail. Each drawer side member is provided with a locking part which is movable transversely to the pull-out rail and prevents horizontal relative movement between the drawer side member and the pull-out rail. The drawer side members have near their rear ends a horizontal stop which prevents horizontal displacement of the drawer side member relative to the pull-out rail. When the drawer rests on the pull-out rails, the hooks of the drawer side members and the hooks of the pull-out rail are spaced from the pull-out rails and the drawer side members, respectively.

Abstract: A hinge to mounted door on an article of furniture includes a base plate to be mounted on the article of furniture. An intermediate member is mounted on the base plate by a spring mechanism in the form of a tilting lever mounted on the intermediate member by a pivot and a spring biasing the tilting lever to pivot in a direction to lock the intermediate member on the base plate. A hinge arm is connected to the intermediate member for adjustment relative thereto. A mechanism to selectively adjust the hinge arm relative to the intermediate member in a direction longitudinally of the intermediate member includes plural projections on the intermediate member, the projections being spaced longitudinally of the intermediate member. Such mechanism further includes a disk rotatively mounted on the hinge arm and having an upper side to be engaged by an adjusting tool and a lower side having a cam in the form of a spiral web in engagement with the projections.

Abstract: A guide rail assembly for use on each of opposite sides of a drawer to guide movement of the drawer into and out of an article of furniture includes a supporting rail to be attached to a furniture side wall, a pull out rail to be attached to the drawer, and at least one carriage for load transmitting rollers situated between the supporting rail and the pull out rail. The pull out rail and the supporting rail are provided with stops for limiting movement of the pull out rail and the carriage with respect to the supporting rail. The carriage is provided with buffers, whereby the carriage and the buffers are made in one piece of plastic material. The buffers each have the form of a meander or serpentine shaped protrusion.

Abstract: A pull-out guide assembly includes a support rail to be mounted on an article of furniture, a pull-out rail to be mounted on a drawer, and an intermediate rail positioned between the support rail and the pull-out rail. A driving roller is mounted on the intermediate rail and runs on running flanges of the support rail and pull-out rail. A locking device on the intermediate rail couples the intermediate rail to the pull-out rail during a rear portion of displacement movement of the pull-out rail into the article of furniture. A closing device is provided on one of the rails to move the intermediate rail and the pull-out rail that is coupled thereto by the locking device to a rearmost position. A clearance is defined and created between the driving roller and the running flange of the support rail to prevent operation of the driving roller during a rear portion of movement of the pull-out rail.

Abstract: A drawer includes a front panel and two drawer sides which are joined to the front panel by fixing devices and which have lateral U-shaped profiles with upper and lower horizontal flanges for accommodating a drawer base. The under side of the drawer base is provided, in regions of the U-shaped profiles with grooves into which fit projections of the lower horizontal flanges. The drawer has a rear wall. Each lower horizontal flange has only a single projection projecting into the respective groove thereabove. Such projection is at or close to a front end of the horizontal flange. During assembly of the drawer, the drawer sides are pushed laterally onto the drawer base, so that the projections of the lower horizontal flanges of the drawer sides project into the grooves thereabove in the drawer base. Rear ends of the drawer sides are diverged. The rear wall is then inserted between the drawer sides, and thereafter the drawer sides are pushed towards one another until the rear ends thereof snap into the rear wall.

Abstract: A multi-member base plate assembly for mounting a hinge arm of a furniture hinge to a furniture side wall includes a mounting plate and a carrier plate. The hinge arm is fastenable to the carrier plate. The carrier plate is slidably mounted at the mounting plate and is adjustable in the direction of the height of the piece of furniture. The carrier plate has wing portions which in the mounted position of the base plate are mounted between the mounting plate and the furniture side wall. The mounting plate is formed of two separate leg portions connected to each other.

Abstract: A hinge for articulating a door to a frame of a piece of furniture includes a base plate mounted on the frame. The base plate bears a hinge arm to which a hinge boss is articulated by a hinge pin. The base plate is fixed to the frame by a fixing screw. An eccentric is mounted in the base plate and enables the position of the hinge arm on the base plate to be adjusted.

Abstract: A device for fastening a front plate of a drawer to a drawer side wall includes a flange, at least one expandable dowel to be inserted into a hole in the front plate, the dowel being separate from and not integral with the flange, and an expanding member positioned within the dowel and movable therein between an expanding position and a release position, the expanding member having an end extending from the dowel. The dowel and the expanding member are positioned on a first side of the flange to face the front plate, with the end of the expanding member passing through an aperture in the flange. A tensioning lever is positioned at a second side of the flange directed away from the front plate and is pivotally connected to the end of the expanding member for pivoting movement between a released position and a tensioning position.

Abstract: A pull-out guide assembly for a drawer or the like includes a support rail to be fastened to a furniture side wall, a pull-out rail to be fastened to the drawer and an intermediate rail on each side of the drawer. Running rollers transfer the load of the drawer from one rail to another. The running rollers are held in cage-like running carriages. Driving rollers which run on the supporting rail and the pull-out rail are mounted on the intermediate rail. The intermediate rail has a U-shaped or double T-shaped profile with upper and lower horizontal running flanges and a vertical connecting web. All running rollers are situated between the running flanges of the intermediate rail. A supporting roller for the pull-out rail is mounted at the front end of the intermediate rail.

Abstract: The front panel of a drawer is attached to a side wall of the drawer by a device including a support part secured to the side wall and a holding part secured to the front panel, the support part and holding part being coupled together. A rocker element has a shank that mounts the rocker element to the support part. A spring acts on a stop on the shank to bias the rocker element in a direction to be toward a rear of the drawer side wall. The rocker element thus is moved to a coupling position coupling the holding part to the support part. The support part is capable of limited movement toward the rear of the side wall relative to the holding part against a biasing force of the spring.

Abstract: A hinge to be mounted on a frame of a piece of furniture includes a hinge arm which is mounted on a mounting plate and is lockable on the mounting plate. The hinge arm is articulated by means of at least one hinge axle to a hinge member which is fastenable to a door. The hinge arm or the mounting plate is provided with pegs having slots into which a spring activated latching member which is movable parallel to the mounting plate is engageable, thus locking the hinge arm to the mounting plate. The mounting plate and the hinge arm are of rectangular configuration with two longer sides and two shorter sides, whereby the longer sides of the mounting plate and the hinge arm are aligned parallel to the hinge axis. The mounting plate is provided on its longer sides with webs extending perpendicular to the mounting plate for abutment with the frame when in mounted position. The latching member is provided with a handle situated at one of the long sides of the hinge arm.

Abstract: A connecting fitting releasably connects two platelike furniture members. The connecting fitting comprises two connecting member which are adapted to be secured to respective ones of the furniture members. A first connecting member is pin-like and has a head and a shank, and the second connecting member is in the form of a casing with a cylindrical shell. A spring loaded locking member is situated within the casing. The casing has an opening in its cylindrical shell through which the head of the first connecting member is insertable. The locking member is adapted for releasably engaging the head of the pin-like connecting member when in the inserted position. A latch is situated in the casing to obstruct movement of the locking member biased by the spring. The latch is provided with a resilient abutment lever which the pin-like member strikes when it is inserted into the casing and by means of which the pin-like member moves the latch.

Abstract: A hinge has a base plate which may be secured to a furniture side wall and on which is anchored a hinge arm. The hinge arm is connected by way of articulated levers to an anchoring device to be connected to a glass door. The anchoring device includes a holding plate which may be joined by adhesion to the glass door and in which a coupling part articulated to the articulated levers may be suspended. Mounted on the coupling part is a spring-loaded tilting lever which, in the assembled position, latches behind a hook-like projection on the holding plate.

Abstract: A connecting fitting for releasably connecting two platelike furniture members includes two connecting members which are adapted to be secured to respective of the furniture members. A first connecting member is in the form of a casing with a cylindrical shell in which is positioned a spring loaded rotary wedge. The casing has an opening in its cylindrical shell through which the head of the pin-like connecting member is insertable into the casing. The rotary wedge releasably engages the underside of the head of the pin-like connecting member when in the inserted position. A tightening element is provided in the casing and is acted upon by a spring whereby rotation of the tightening element will result in rotation of the rotary wedge and vice versa.

Abstract: A pull-out guide assembly for use on each of opposite sides of a drawer for guiding the movement of the drawer into and out of the body of an article of furniture includes a supporting rail to be mounted on a respective side of the body of the article of furniture, a pull-out rail to be mounted on a respective side of the drawer and a center rail positioned between the rails for enabling relative longitudinal movement therebetween. A recess is formed in the front end of the center rail. A stop member operative between the pull-out rail and the center rail limits the extent of longitudinal movement of the pull-out rail relative to the center rail in a direction of extraction of the pull-out rail from the center rail. The stop member is a lug projecting horizontally underneath the center rail and a tiltable flap situated above the center rail. In the retaining position the horizontal lug is positioned underneath the recess in the center rail, the recess being open solely to the bottom of the center rail.

Abstract: A metal pull-out rail is to be connected to a drawer bottom plate and to a drawer side wall having a cover strip to cover a lateral edge of the bottom plate. The pull-out rail includes a lower horizontal flange on which is to be positioned the bottom plate. A plurality of flaps integral with the flange are punched from the material thereof. A portion of each flap is inclined to the flange in a direction to be away from the bottom plate. Each flap has a free end and a portion having therethrough a hole for receipt of a screw for attaching the flap to the bottom plate. Each flap has an abutting portion for, when the flap is attached to the bottom plate by the respective screw fitting through the hole and being screwed into the bottom plate to thereby move the portion toward the bottom plate, abutting the bottom plate and causing the bottom plate to be urged toward the cover strip.

Abstract: A connecting fitting or brace for fixing a rail of a drawer to a rear wall of the drawer includes a plate-like supporting component constructed on or to be fixed to the rear wall. A rear end of the rail is connected to a fixing component. The supporting component has an open slot in which the fixing component can be hung. The fixing component has a sprung hook which snaps in behind an edge of the supporting component.
