Abstract: The invention relates to limiting interference in a heterogeneous wireless system comprising a first network node (20) serving a first user equipment unit (22) and a second network node (21) causing interference on communication between the first network node and the first user equipment unit. An interference assessment capable device (22) comprises a transmission activity detector that determines the transmission activity of the second network node in relation to user equipment units served by it, and a signal generator that provides information about the transmission activity to the first network node. The first network node in turn comprises a reception unit that receives the information about transmission activity and a unit for improving communication to and from the first network node using the received information.
