Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may obtain a request that identifies a region associated with a wireless communication network, identify sub-areas within the region, obtain performance indicator data for the sub-areas for a plurality of time periods from mobile devices within each sub-area, and apply an adaptive thresholding to the performance indicator data for each sub-area to determine one or more thresholds associated with the performance indicator data. The processing system may further identify a risk level, from among a plurality of risk levels, for each sub-area for at least one time periods based upon the one or more thresholds and the performance indicator data for each sub-area, where the one or more thresholds define one or more risk levels of the plurality of risk levels, and provide reporting data indicating the risk level for each sub-area for the at least one time period.

Abstract: Provided is an article of cookware and a method of making the same. The cookware has at least one stainless steel layer and at least one copper layer metallurgically bonded directly to the at least one stainless steel layer via solid state bonding. The at least one stainless steel layer may be a ferritic stainless steel layer, and the at least one copper layer may be a grain stabilized copper. The at least one stainless steel layer may be made from a 400 series stainless steel, such as a 436 stainless steel alloy, a 439 stainless steel alloy, or a 444 stainless steel alloy. The at least one copper layer may be made from a high purity, oxygen free copper alloy, such as a C101 copper alloy, a C102 copper alloy, or a C107 copper alloy.

Abstract: A decoy comprises a wing system that includes a drive system and at least one wing that is operable to create realistic movement of the at least one wing, thereby simulating actual motion of a fowl wing. The wing system comprises at least one wing that may look like the top of a bird wing and bottom of a bird wing, respectively. During operation, the at least one wing would look natural and realistic, accurately mimicking a real flapping wing. The at least one wing may be configured to oscillate repeatedly back and forth. The at least one wing may be configured to flap. The at least one wing may be configured to oscillate repeatedly back and forth and flap simultaneously.

Abstract: Integrate access and backhaul (IAB) nodes can multiplex access and backhaul links in time, frequency, or space, which includes the transmission of signals and/or channels utilized as part of initial access and measurements used for radio resource management (RRM). The same physical layer signals and channels used for these purposes by access a user equipment device can be reused for performing similar procedures at the IAB node. Consequently, the IAB node can leverage various muting patterns to employ the use of half-duplex and full-duplex synchronization signal block radio resource management such that mobile terminal functionality and distributed unit functionality of the IAB node can receive and transmit signals simultaneously.

Abstract: In one example, a method includes monitoring a delivery of an item of multimedia content to a first user endpoint device in a first stream of data, monitoring a delivery of the item of multimedia content to a second user endpoint device in a second stream of data, consolidating the stream of data and the second stream of data into a third stream of data, sending an first instruction to a source of the first stream of data and a source of the second stream of data to cease delivering the first stream of data and the second stream of data, and sending a second instruction to the source of the first stream of data and the source of the second stream to begin delivering the third stream of data to the first user endpoint device and the second user endpoint device.

Abstract: A rotary electric machine includes an electronic module and a heat sink for dissipating heat produced by the module. The module includes a printed circuit, an electronic component having a base positioned on the printed circuit, a heat transfer device connected to the printed circuit and to the electronic component for transferring heat generated by the component to the heat sink. The heat transfer device includes an upper portion extending from the printed circuit towards the heat sink from the same side of the component and a base portion connected to the upper portion and positioned in the printed circuit at least partly under the component to form, at least partly, a preferential path for the heat, from the base of the electronic component to the heat sink. The electronic component is connected at least partly by its own base to the base portion of the heat transfer device.

Abstract: A method, Delivery Node, DN, and Content Delivery Network, CDN, are optimized to deliver content of different categories. The DN is operative to receive a request for a content, obtain a determination of whether or not a category of content is associated with the requested content and responsive to the determination that no category of content is associated with the requested content, forward the request for the content towards an origin server and upon receiving a response from the origin server serve the content. The CDN comprises a plurality of DNs, a data processing service operative to obtain, from the DNs, and assemble, data sets into training and validation data formatted to be used for training and validating a Neural Network, NN. The CDN comprises a NN training service, operative to train and validate the NN and a configuration service, operative to configure the plurality of DNs with the trained and validated NN.

Abstract: A data mover selection system includes a memory system coupled to first and second data mover devices, and an operating system coupled to the first and second data mover devices. The operating system determines that a first data transfer operation provides for the transfer of data between first and second memory locations in the memory system, and identifies the first data mover device for performing the first data transfer operation based on the first data mover device having a higher priority relative to the second data mover device for performing data transfers between the first and second memory locations in the memory system. In response, the operating system transmits a first data transfer instruction to the first data mover device that causes the first data mover device to perform the first data transfer operation to transfer data between the first and second memory locations in the memory system.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to single packet authorization (“SPA”) in a cloud computing environment. A compute node can include a virtual switch operating on at least a portion of a plurality of hardware resources of a cloud computing environment, a virtual firewall, a cloud workload executing a cloud service, and a SPA service. The virtual switch can receive a SPA request from a SPA client executing on a computing device. The virtual switch can forward the SPA request to the virtual firewall and to the SPA service. The virtual firewall can deny the SPA request in accordance with a firewall policy. The SPA service can utilize a SPA validation scheme to validate the SPA request. The virtual firewall can implement a temporary firewall policy to allow incoming packets from the SPA client and directed to the cloud service.
