Abstract: A portable information handling system applies context determined from sensors to selectively configure a display to present either a single user interface for a single user or two separate user interfaces for first and second users. For instance, detection of rotational portions in a flat orientation in proximity of multiple users results in a separate user interface at each rotational portion so that each end user has a user interface to interact with.
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for determining if a patient is likely to benefit from a cancer treatment, by determining if said patient has a gut dysbiosis with an over representation of certain bacterial species. The present invention also provides probiotic strains to improve the efficacy of a cancer treatment, especially chemotherapy, in patients in need thereof.

Abstract: A corrosion monitoring/alerting system includes a chassis. A corrosion monitoring subsystem identifies a current humidity and a current temperature in the chassis, determines that the current humidity is above a corrosion-alert humidity and the current temperature is below a corrosion-alert temperature and, in response, generates a first corrosion alert signal. A corrosion alert subsystem identifies the first corrosion alert signal and, in response, transmits a first recommended corrosion remediation action communication. The corrosion monitoring subsystem may also transmit a test current through a test computing subsystem connection, determine that a test voltage generated in response to transmitting the test current through the test computing subsystem connection is below a corrosion-alert voltage and, response, generate a second corrosion alert signal.
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables regulation of features provided by respective endpoints registered for a user in a multi-endpoint service. In a particular embodiment, a method includes, in response to determining that a first endpoint is being operated by a first user, associating the first endpoint with a primary designation and associating the second endpoint with a secondary designation. The method further includes allowing the first endpoint to provide a first set of communication features in accordance with the primary designation and preventing the second endpoint from providing the first set of communication features in accordance with the secondary designation.
Abstract: An information handling system may include a processor and a basic input/output system (BIOS) comprising a program of instructions executable by the processor and configured to cause the processor to initialize one or more information handling resources of the information handling system. The BIOS may be further configured to, during a boot of the information handling system, determine whether a BIOS configuration change has been made during a current boot session of the information handling system, and responsive to determining that a BIOS configuration change has been made during the current boot session, store an indication of the BIOS configuration change to a non-volatile memory.
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for management of a centralized service for transaction handling across multiple processes that sends connections to a parent process that determines the multiple processes that are used to provide data or upgrade to a user database. Reference identifiers are generated for the connections. The reference identifiers are mapped. Connection of the multiple processes is performed using the reference identifiers to the database to provide data or upgrade to the user database. An abort or rollback is received if all of the other processes are not successful in providing the data or upgrading user database. A commit is received if all of the multiple processes are successful in providing the data or upgrading the user database.
Abstract: An information handling system may include at least one processor; and a non-transitory memory coupled to the at least one processor; wherein the information handling system is configured to manage an information handling system cluster by providing a command line interface between a user and a daemon service configured to execute user commands; wherein the command line interface implements a proxy subcommand that is configured to accept other commands; and wherein, when an other command is received, the daemon service is configured to parse the other command and dispatch the parsed other command to a particular backend service.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods may be implemented to provide multi-layer display assembly apparatus for information handling systems, including portable information handling systems (e.g., such as smart phones, tablet computers, notebook computers, etc.) as well as display assembly apparatus for other types of information handling systems such as desktop computers, servers, etc. The disclosed multi-layer display assembly apparatus may be implemented to include multiple adhesive layers (e.g., two or more adhesive layers) that have different indices of refraction and/or different debonding characteristics, and that are disposed between a display substrate and an transparent protective hardcover such as glass-based or plastic-based cover.
Abstract: A method for controlling the flow of data traffic on a destination device in a network involves (a) providing a table associated with the destination device; (b) reading each entry of the table from the start of the table to the end of the table; (c) for each port entry read, determining whether a buffer storage threshold for data received from a source port has been exceeded. When the buffer storage threshold for data received from the source port is determined to have been exceeded, an internal stop message is transmitted to a media access control unit on the destination device, otherwise an internal continue message is transmitted to the media access control unit. Operations (b) and (c) are repeated for each of a plurality of read cycles.
Abstract: Determining a resolved DNS response based on one or more resolutions for a received APN DNS query is disclosed. A resolved DNS response can be based on real-time analysis of a first query and/or on historical resolution of a second query that is sufficiently similar to the first query. In an aspect, training queries can be employed to populate a data store with preferred DNS responses correlated to the training queries and associated network conditions. The data store can then be employed to evaluate a received query, and where sufficiently similar to a training query, corresponding resolution from the training query can be provided as a resolution for the received query. Moreover, as stored query information is determined to become stale, refreshment techniques are disclosed. Additionally, training queries can comprise anticipated queries and historical queries.
