Abstract: A system may include a controller, an endpoint device, and a cable coupled between the controller and the endpoint device and comprising a communication wire for bidirectionally communicating signals between the controller and the endpoint device and a circuit formed as a part of the cable and communicatively coupled to the communication wire, the circuit having a microcontroller unit configured to communicate identifying information regarding the cable to the controller via the communication wire and without contention with the signals bidirectionally communicated between the controller and the endpoint device.

Abstract: The subject matter described herein is directed towards a technology that increases the reliability of transmitting information, by propagating received information in a location-controlled and route managed multiple-stage chain communication in a wireless communication system. A transmitting device transmits a broadcast or group-cast communication message in conjunction with transmitter and receiver location data (e.g., absolute or quantized coordinates). An intermediate device that receives the communication message determines a communication path based on the received location data, and determines whether the intermediate device is within the communication path based on its own location. Only intermediate devices that are within the communications path, and that otherwise satisfy retransmission policy, perform the retransmission.
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing one-touch migration of virtual assets are described. In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS), may include a processor, a remote access controller (RAC) coupled to the processor, and a memory coupled to the RAC, the RAC configured to: assume a role of an originating group's manager, where the originating group comprises a first plurality of IHSs and each IHS has one or more virtual assets of a first type; collect configuration information related to other IHSs; transmit the configuration information to another RAC of another IHS designated as a destination group's manager, comprising a second plurality of IHSs, where the other RAC is configured to: perform a compatibility check using the configuration information; and validate a migration of the one or more virtual assets from the first plurality of IHSs to the second plurality of IHSs, where migrated assets are of a second type.

Abstract: The present invention provides a composition comprising: a polyester base polymer; an oxidizable polyether-based additive; and a transition metal catalyst, wherein the polyester base polymer is substantially free of antimony. Containers made include a wall made of the composition. The polyester base polymer may preferably include polyethylene terephthalate and include less than about 100 ppm of antimony, less than about 50 ppm, less than about 10 ppm, or between about 0 and about 2 ppm. Containers made from the composition are substantially clear and exhibit excellent oxygen scavenging properties with little to no induction period.
Abstract: In a storage system in which a storage array accesses cloud storage via a cloud gateway, the cloud gateway provides signals to control data rate between the storage array and the cloud. The signals may include commands to reduce or stop all volume streams or a select subset of volume streams. Data rate may be controlled on the basis of available buffering capacity of the cloud gateway and available bandwidth between the cloud gateway and cloud storage. The signals may be SCSI VU commands, where the cloud gateway is a SCSI initiator and the storage array is a SCSI target.

Abstract: A key-press detection circuit for an information handling system includes a detector circuit, a RC circuit, and a latch circuit. The detector circuit is coupled to a keyboard matrix device, and operates to provides a clock signal in a first state when a particular key of the keyboard matrix device is pressed and to provide the clock signal in a second state when the particular key is not pressed. The RC circuit receives the clock signal and provides a timed clock signal in a third state for a predetermined amount of time in response to receiving the clock signal in the first state. After the predetermined amount of time, the RC circuit provides the timed clock signal in a fourth state. The latch circuit receives the timed clock signal at a clock input, receives a data signal at a data input, and latches an output signal in a same state as the data signal when the timed clock signal changes from the third state to the fourth state.

Abstract: During a sidelink process, a configured grant can be utilized for data reception. For example, one user device (e.g., gnodeB or local manager user equipment) can send a signal to a receiving UE indicating that the user device should monitor a specific channel for a specific time. The user device can then send another signal to a transmitting user equipment indicating that it needs to transmit on a specific sub channel at the specific time or window of time. Abstract: An information handling system includes an identification resistor, calibration circuitry, and a system-on-a-chip (SOC). The SOC sets the calibration line to a first digital state to place the calibration circuitry in an inventory mode. While the calibration circuitry is in the inventory mode, the SOC determines an inventory amount of time to charge the capacitor to a voltage substantially equal to a threshold voltage. The SOC then sets the calibration line to a second digital state to place the calibration circuitry in a calibration mode. While the calibration circuitry is in the calibration mode, the SOC determines a calibration amount of time to charge the capacitor to the voltage substantially equal to the threshold voltage. The SOC determines a resistance of the identification resistor based on the inventory amount of time and the calibration amount of time. The SOC also determines bit strapping information corresponding to the determined resistance.
